I normally don't write reviews, let alone speak negatively regarding a company that supports children. I've given the benefit of the doubt to companies to rectify situations, however our experience with I Luv A Party for our daughter's third birthday party was the worst experience I have had. We did our research on the company, saw positive reviews and stunning costume choices, so we felt comfortable spending $250 on a costume character. We wanted a unicorn and was told that even though they don't have a costume (which they have costumes for everything listed on their site) that someone would come wearing a unicorn hat/face covering. What showed up was not worth the money spent. At first, the kids were hesitant to approach the woman who came and the "unicorn" was not engaging with the kids to get them excited. She just stood there and made balloon animals. Unfortunately, shame on us for assuming that for a three year olds birthday, that person would be energetic and engaging.

When we called, we were very rudely spoken to with no option of rectifying the situation. When looking at my credit card statement, the charge was more than the agreed upon amount, with no paper trail to confirm since the company doesn't send invoices. I have been reaching out with no response. Very poorly managed and operated.

If I could rate without any stars, I would! This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star. They were booked 3 months in advance for a Christmas Eve party we were invited to in Westchester involving my children, nieces, nephews and friends. All the children, including my 1 autistic son, were devastated. Shattering and forever traumatizing their innocent Santa believing hearts. They eagerly waited to be greeted by the man behind all the holiday magic to receive holiday cheer and joy, however were left heartbroken and crying all night feeling they were not good enough and not on the nice list. Santa never showed. After endless attempts trying to contact someone from the company, my dear friend and host was rudely insulted with a remark “put the kids to sleep and if Santa shows, he shows!” Followed by being Rudely hung up on; leaving all of us speechless. I would never recommend this company to anyone unless they want trauma and tears for Christmas, or any holiday! Negative negative negative!! Unprofessional!! No stars deserved. Worst company ever.

Very Unprofessional! hired santa for christmas eve. They called during the day to see if they could come earlier saying they would be in our area earlier and that had to go to long island. Since we couldn’t accommodate their time frame they didn’t show up to our party and failed to honor their contract! Nancy claims they were running late after many many attempts to call them that night with no response until 2h after the promised time! Her response: “ put ur kids to bed and If santa shows up wake them up” can u imagine what an unprofessional company!!! would never recommend them to anyone… and it seems i didn’t do proper research cz looking at the previous reviews they same to have a bad reputation already! Mind you she never called back to apologize for never showing up and ruining our christmas she also never refunded like she claims she did! i had to dispute the charge with my cc comoany! Never again!!!!!!

ILuvaparty doesn’t just fail—they destroy. We booked their “Santa Experience” months in advance, trusting them with one of the most magical moments of our children’s lives. What we got instead was an unthinkable disaster.

Santa NEVER showed up. No explanation, no apology, no backup plan. Just silence. When we finally managed to contact someone, we were met with flimsy excuses that insulted our intelligence. The truth? ILuvaparty OVERBOOKED and LIED to cover up their greed and incompetence, leaving our family—and most heartbreakingly, our kids—completely forgotten.

The true devastation was watching our children wake up Christmas morning in tears, asking why Santa didn’t come. They thought they weren’t good enough. Imagine the guilt and heartbreak of explaining to your kids that the magic of Christmas was stolen—not because of anything they did, but because a company like ILuvaparty cares more about profits than keeping their promises.

ILuvaparty didn’t just mess up a booking. They shattered childhood magic and broke our trust. This isn’t just bad business—it’s cold, heartless, and cruel.

Save yourself the heartbreak. Stay far away from ILuvaparty unless you enjoy paying to devastate your kids. They don’t deserve your trust, your money, or your holiday cheer.

Buyer Beware!!! One of the most unprofessional experiences a customer may have...After a long drawn out conversation with the owner, Nancy, of how she did not receive payment for a request for professional "Hula" dancers for a party of over 100 guests. Nancy then insisted on "zelle" payment, which we complied, however, we found out we were charged by the credit card company and she received Payment twice.
If this was not enough, the "dancers" she sent through her agency could only be described as dancers of another venue! They were far from authentic as was promised!! BUYER BEWARE!!

My experience was absolutely terrible. The pink “gorilla” came in barely able to walk (not sure who was inside). You could barely hear what he/she was saying. Had to ask the person to repent themselves several times. No excitement, just read from a sheet of paper. Never using them again!!!

I recently requested a Hula dancer from I Luv A Party for my Moms 70th birthday party, she was absolutely amazing !!! Bina got the entire crowd involved and my Mom had a blast. Nancy answered all my emails and calls promptly. Thanks for adding beautiful and professional entertainment to our event.

We were so happy with the terrific entertainment I Luv A Party provided for our child's birthday. Both your superhero and princess arrived on time and engaged the children in a variety of fun entertainment for the entire time they were there. My wife and I were amazed at how talented and
professional they were.

In addition the balloon decorating you did was fabulous.
