Anyone going to Tamarindo absolutely needs to use Blue Crab for any and all activities! I honestly can't recommend them enough. Paul not only organized all of our activities, but was also super resourceful with any question we had on the town. He gave us recommendations every night on where to eat, where to get a good drink, and where to explore. In terms of adventures and tours, Paul only works with the best of the best and will make sure whatever you do is a blast!

Just got back from Tamarindo and my time with Blue Crab Tours was amazing. Paul the owner set everything up from start to finish, he is the man you want to speak with in Tamarindo. I learned to surf and the scuba diving was a 10/10 experience. The activities they offer were easy on the wallet and all our expectations were exceeded. Highly recommend the bbq he serves up, it is the best! Will be returning to Tamarindo soon, Thanks Paul!

The best decision I made on my trip to Costa Rica was booking a tour with these guys! We had SO much fun and the owner Paul was super accommodating and friendly. Costa Rica is an amazing place to visit and Blue Crab made sure that our experience there was unforgettable! Can't wait to go back!

Ronald and his surf instructors were amazing. He wasn't pushy for us to buy anything and spoke great English. The most accommodating person we met on the beach. The instructors were perfect as we were first timers and spent lots of time with us in the water. My husband had never snowboarded or surfed and was able to get up on his first try because of them. Only person to use for lessons in Tamarindo!

We had a group of four of us from Boston visit Tamarindo this past week and Paul was recommended to use for our tours we wanted to do! He brought us on the best adventure tour by Liberia that included a full day of ziplining, horseback riding, river tubing, lunch, waterfalls, hot springs and mud baths! That tour was absolutely amazing and highly recommended! He also set us up with a sunset boat tour that was from 1-6pm and was out of Tamarindo beach! That boat tour was so much fun, including delicious food and open bar! They also stopped and anchored by a nearby cove provided snorkeling, kayaking, & float noodles! We even got to see a whale and some dolphins! Our vacation was amazing and having Paul bring us on these tours and give us suggestions of the best restaurants and beaches in the area made our trip! We all highly recommend reaching out to Blue Crab and having Paul help you make your vacation the best it can be!!

Went down to Tamarindo last week. Met paul in town night 3. He showed me an amazing time and introduced me to a bunch of cool people, locals and travelers alike. Met Ronald (his business partner) several times throughout the week as well. Ultimately, Paul brought me back to the airport, right on time to return to hell. Blue Crab Tours is a legitimate outfit, and the customer service is extraordinary. Pura vida!

I want to say how much fun it was talking with Ronaldo while we were in Tamarindo. When I tried to rent two boogie boards from him and he was out he really helped me out. He helped me find another source from one of his competitors, which he didn't have to do. For our last night there we booked a sunset/snorkeling trip through him. It was a blast and it was memorable for my whole family. When we were supposed to be picked up he was waiting there for us, even though he did not have too but luckily he was. When our ride didn't show up he was going to drive us himself! Apparently another family of four stole our ride and they were well on their way there before we figured it out. As they say in Costa Rico - Pura Visa, things happen and he fixed it! Bottom line is I would definitely recommend Blue Crab to anyone I know heading there and I feel bad I wasn't able to let Ronaldo know how happy we were with the excursion.
