I made a payment on April 4, 2024. Eve missed our onboarding call and blamed it on a client being in labor for 5 days straight. (Photos attached) Had I not reached out to her after our missed appointment, she had no plans to contact me to apologize or reschedule. Our first (doula) session was not scheduled to take place until May 18, 2024. (Photo attached) I canceled due to her lack of communication and I had to call my bank to dispute the transaction because she said she had a no refund policy. Even though NO SERVICES were rendered which the contract had confirmed. I will follow up with this review once my bank grants my full refund of $500. (Which was my first installment amount)

Very disappointing how Eve constantly called and text me and followed up for me to make this first payment just to ghost me our onboarding call and then to tell me that I couldn’t get a refund because she has a refund policy. No services were rendered. She should not have harassed me to make a payment, knowing that it was non-refundable. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Review says Massengill (my old name under this email address) but I signed up under my legal name Ashley Grayson. Just in case she says that she has no record of Client by my name. Hope this helps someone else. The dates on these screenshots show that she conducts bad business to not offer a refund on Services that she knows were never even started let alone completed.

Eve was my doula before the genesis of Eve Birth Services. She entered my life as a colleague and when I learned I was pregnant with twins she quickly came to my aid. She was there to help educate me on the different stages of pregnancy/postpartum, kept tabs of my eating/drinking, and provided a positive environment to help reduce my stress. She even took weekly pictures of me to track my progress! After the twins were born, my mother passed away due to cancer 20 days after the twins birth. Eve came to my aid again without me even asking. She was there to assist with the breast feeding and my postpartum depression. Honestly, she was the best blessing I ever could have received during that time. The next time I get pregnant Eve Birth Services will definitely be the company I use. I believe my first pregnancy was so amazing due to Eve and her gift of being a doula. She knows her stuff!

Eve is worth every penny!!! I don’t even know where to begin. She’s more than just your average doula, she’s passionate about what she does. She supported me for my desire for a vbac and with Eve by myside it was a success. Eve provider childbirth care, one on one in person meetings and education, and an amazing postpartum Eve blooms kit for herbal baths and postpartum care. She educated my husband how to support and care for me and I’ve forever grateful. She empowered me to advocate for myself and was always a call away. I jokingly call her superwoman but she’s so much more than that.

Eve is truly passionate about all things related to birth. My husband and I purchased the child birth education course and birth support package. The education provided us with a foundation of what to expect throughout Labor and knowledge of the commonly used interventions. When we hired a doula I wanted someone that I could feel connected and open with, as birth is very intimate and sacred. Eve and I connected during our first meeting. My labor was long and Eve was there to support me every step of the way. Eve was able to coach and engage my husband when I was in active labor so that he could provide support. My labor was augmented with pitocin for about 10 hours. The support provided by Eve during labor is the reason I was able to achieve my goal of an unmedicated VBAC! I know that I could not have done it without her. If you are looking to have an unmedicated birth hire Eve! You will not regret it!

Eve is truly passionate about supporting mamas. She commits to developing a relationship with her clients at the beginning of their pregnancies, providing support throughout as well as weekly scheduled checkins. During labor, she pays attention to the mama’s needs and intuitively makes adjustments. She is a wonderful support to have throughout pregnancy and beyond.

I cannot say enough glowing things about Eve and our experience with her as our doula. So much so, we now consider her family. I honestly could not imagine a more beautiful birth experience had it not been for her educational course, in-home assistance, postpartum support, cultivating an affirming mommy tribe, and unwavering bedside champion.
Every mother should walk away from giving birth feeling heard, understood, at peace, and empowered. Working with Eve helped me understand that my voice is powerful in this transformitive experience, despite what I've learned. And I won't be looking back.
