This travel agency was used by a group for a destination wedding. Our issues mainly began as final payment neared. There were no less than 5 final payment dates communicated and none were accurate. I called in to find out when the final payment date would actually be, and her voicemail was full. I emailed, and got no response back. My card was charged on a date that I was not aware of and while this was ok as there were plenty of available funds, it would have been nice to have known the exact dates ahead of time.

My card ended up being double charged however. Laura communicated this to me via an email and said she was in touch with the resort and it would take a few days to get this sorted out, which was fine. After 2 weeks went by without getting the second charge refunded, I called her to find out what to do next. Her voicemail was full (I would later learn, this was a very common occurrence). I emailed her, and received no response back. I texted her, and received no response back. Finally I had to reach out to the bride (who was the only person in the entire group who was getting regular communication) to find out what to do. Rather than contact me, she relayed a message through the bride to dispute the charge.

Next, we were told to submit our butler forms to her through email. I filled it out, and emailed it back to her, with no response. As this was her normal, I figured she had received it. Two days later, she sent out an email to the entire group stating that there were several of us who had not gotten her the form and my name was on the list. I promptly forwarded her the last email, and cc'd the bride again, sending her the form I had already sent. No response came from Laura.

We did not receive documents with any confirmation from the resort until about 3-4 days before departure. We were somewhat nervous about this and called the resort to confirm once we had the number to be told that they didn't have any record of us or our group. (we later found out there was a different procedure for groups booked with travel agents, but communication of this would have been helpful from Laura).

Upon arrival, my husband and I were concerned whether we even had a room to go to. Thankfully we did and the resort itself was fantastic. They never received our butler forms, and upon speaking to the rest of the group, none of our butler forms had been submitted.

Just about everyone within the group had similar experience with Laura - no return communication, and other issues even more frustrating than ours. I've worked with large group travels before with other travel agents through my work and never had one issue. The issues reported from other people traveling within this group showed a great inattention to detail, lack of communication, and unprofessionalism. The entire experience with this travel agent was frustrating and stressful. I would not recommend this business to anyone and in fact, I would highly advise against using this business.
