We saw this place on someone's instagram and really wanted to try their cocktails. I'm so glad we went because turns out, they also have great food!! I'll also start by saying their service was excellent and everyone was so nice.

The restaurant itself is quite large with lots of seating. There were both tables and bar seating. That being said, none of the tables looked like they would seat larger than 4 (although I'm sure they could potentially combine tables?) Bonus: their bathrooms were extremely clean

For the food we got the Chicken Bao Bun, Beef Poutine, and Mama's stuffed bread. They were all SO good. Not too salty, perfectly spiced (where appropriate). My only comment would be the beef poutine was served in a deep bowl and the sauce was very runny so the top fries weren't very saucy and the bottom fries were soggy.

For their drinks we got the Blondie with the Body, Robins & Roses, The Huntsman, and (I think) the Sirens Song. They were all so great! We sat at the bar and saw the cocktail making process and really appreciated all the care and detail that went into each cocktail. We really would've liked to try more (guess we'll have to go again!)

Come for the cocktails, skip the meals.

Nice spot with a nice atmosphere. The drinks are good and the staff are attentive.

The food however is underwhelming. Seems like they’re not quite prepared or don’t have a proper kitchen/chef.

Multiple items came on chipped plates.
The ramen lacked flavor, consistency, and the proper ingredients. The bao buns weren’t made fresh both meat and the bun (likely frozen).

Hope you guys make some improvements on the food side!

The Bevy Co. is an absolute gem- a wonderful breath-of-fresh-air addition to Southbury! Happy Hour at the bar is ideal; there’s a great vibe! The cocktails are top notch, and the staff is super accommodating and friendly. The drink and food menus change periodically, which we enjoy. (The ramen pictured is more of a winter dish, but was delicious!) The owner was also nice enough to quickly sort out a mistake I had made when purchasing a gift card for my in-laws…she truly knows how to run a successful business. We look forward to returning, as it’s one of our new locals!

The Bevy Co is a great new addition to Southbury! This elevated cocktail bar offers a nice variety of drinks, including mocktails and hemp-infused drinks for those avoiding alcohol. The menu consists of small plates, but there are several that make for a good entree portion if you’re looking for something more substantial, like the steak or the smoked Mac and cheese special that was available when we visited. I thought their wings were especially good and that their buffalo sauce was tasty! Loved the many board options that were available, and we were so excited when we saw the butter board since that’s been a trendy option lately. When the dessert board came with a macaron bouquet we were all so excited! The cheesecake was fantastic too. I really was blown away by the ambiance - definitely a 10/10, and I don’t feel like we have something else quite like this in the area. It’s a great place to hang out, and when we went on a Monday night, they were doing trivia! Our server was sweet, and everything came out in a timely manner. I would definitely come back!

What a great addition to Southbury, CT! Bevy Co has both amazing food and cocktails, especially with their new spring menu. Service was excellent and super cozy, yet up-scale vibe inside.

Food is delicious - some of my favorites included the burrito bowl (super generous portions), chicken bao buns, burrata salad and tuna wonton nachos.

I highly suggest finishing the meal with their espresso martinis and fried dough. You could get the espresso martinis regular or lavender or pistachio. The fried dough was warm, light and fluffy and so delicious. You could get this savory, topped with marinara sauce, or sweet, topped with cinnamon sugar. Better than I’ve had from any fair.

I’ve been so excited to visit the spot since it opened. I finally made it in, and I could not be happier about my experience we went, and it happened to be a trivia night, which we did not participate in, but it was fun to see all of the interaction and cool prizes that people won. The food was outstanding I ordered an array of different dishes I had the gnocchi pesto special, which was awesome, we ordered the summer bruschetta and that was very delicious. Deviled eggs were out of this world. I hate four of them. I can’t wait to go back and try the wings and a variety of other dishes. I tried several different cocktails as did my friend and we both enjoyed everything I could not pick a favorite because each one was so delicious. The ambience inside is picture perfect and photo worthy. The staff were awesome. Everybody was so nice I can’t wait to visit again and highly recommend a spot to anyone in or close to the Southbury area. Heck, even if you live far away, the spot is worth the drive..

We had an amazing time here. It’s nice to finally see a “speakeasy” type of bar in the area where cocktails are artfully made and tasted amazing! My only critique would be to lower the music a tiny bit. I saw some others provided the same feedback in the receipt books. It was hard to have any type of conversation.

The Bevy Co is consistent in its ability to be amazing. This is, in my opinion, the best food in area. No matter what we’ve ordered from the menu, every experience has been delicious, creative, well plated and fresh. The cocktails. Ah. The cocktails. Mixed to perfection. And if you want dessert, their desserts are made by the incredibly talented Southbury Baking Company, so
you are guaranteed a sweet piece of heaven at the end of your meal. The atmosphere and the service rounds out an all around fabulous experience.
