One of the Most charming places I’ve ever stayed. I love the unique vintage furniture and Claw foot tub. The towel warmer and free soda and candy in the fridge was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was delicious and I was impressed with the small details like warming the maple syrup. If I come back to the area, I will definitely try to stay here again.

The Inn At Fox Hill was the perfect get away for my husband and I, From the moment we pulled in Nick greeted us with a smile and gave us the tour and made us feel welcome, he had snacks and drinks for us and even had toiletries if we forgot anything to use. My husband absolute loved Nick's pancakes he made us for breakfast served on the deck overlooking the pond and trees with the leaves just starting to turn. We can not wait to go back next year.

Wonderful cottage and gracious host. Nick, the host, was friendly and full of interesting information. Property is absolutely beautiful, especially in October with the foliage. Fantastic breakfast, with some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had!

This is a quintessential New England farm cottage. It's as if you are visiting your grandmothers home, with care and comfort only she could provide. Set in a town with rolling green hills, old stone walls and grand farm houses. We stayed only one night after my son's graduation at UCONN. We arrived at night and woke to the special beauty of the pond view that the photos do not do justice. We enjoy unlimited coffee and a delicious breakfast, while taking in the view. My daughter, who joined me, I worried may find the cottage a little too antique, she loved it! Seems everyone can be charmed by this cottage. Nick your host is very accommodating. You won't regret your visit.

The cottage had all the amenities of home. Nick was a wonderful host and cook. The breakfast was delicious and the fridge was stocked with water, soda, 2 beers, and chocolates. We were celebrating our 43rd Wedding Anniversary and were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of champagne with 2 glasses chilling in the fridge. So thoughtful and unexpected. Peaceful and comfortable we were happy with our stay and would definitely stay again in the future!

What a hidden gem. Although attached to the main house it has the privacy of being at home. The innkeeper’s have out done themselves with supplying everything you need. The refrigerator was stocked with different beverages and snacks and even a loaf of bread. The bathroom had everything you need also. The view of the pond from the deck was amazing in the morning with a cup of coffee (which was provided). Peaceful to say the least. Nick the innkeepers breakfast was the best. This will be our destroy for sure on our next trip to Connecticut. Would recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to stay. Five stars for sure. Can’t wait to visit again for a bit longer.

Such a charming little cottage with a beautiful view of the pond. We had the whole cottage to ourselves--very private and perfect for a romantic getaway. We managed to get in a short walk around the pond, but because of the weather we couldn't take advantage of the trails.|Nick was very hospitable and served us a delicious breakfast in our private dining area overlooking the pond. Nick provided a lot of little comforts like a fireplace, CD player with relaxing music, bathrobes and a towel warmer. |Charming, clean and comfortable.

We had cabin fever at our home and needed a change in venue. We looked for pet friendly as we have an emotional support dog who goes everywhere with us. This was just the right getaway to heal the winter blues. Nick made sure we knew all the operations of the well stocked cottage and his availability for any need we had. The beautiful pond view and comfortable bed with all the amenities you could need were the ticket for a well rested stay. Highly recommended especially if you love NE history and the quiet corner of CT!
