I travel to the area every month and stay at this hotel. I find the hotel to be clean, comfortable and consistent. Always have a well cleaned room. The bedding is very comfortable and I appreciate the different pillow options. And my stays are consistent with no surprises. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great because of the restaurants and shopping near by. Makes my visits stressless.

What makes this hotel so impressive is the staff. Registration went above and beyond to get our rooms together. The friendly housekeeping staff immediately attended to our needs. Even the woman working in the breakfast room was all smiles and very helpful. The breakfast choices were amazing! Great stay.

Overall a good stay. Updating carpet in common areas and rooms would make this hotel appear newer. Less breakfast choices on Monday then Sunday but seem to be more people in the area Monday. No cinnamon rolls on Monday and we all know that is a big reason to stay there lol. Hotel was clean including the pool. Staff was very nice and had no issues.

This is an older Holiday Inn Express. I remember when they knocked down the old motel that used to sit here. Must be almost 40 years ago. That said, this hotel is in pretty good shape. I grew up less than a mile from here and now live about 1500 miles from here and this is where we stay when we come back to visit. The rooms are fine. Everything works. The cleaning staff and front desk are very good. Parking is easy and there are a few places to eat within walking distance. There are nicer places to stay in Connecticut but this is easily the best choice in Vernon.

I used the IHG app to book the room. Check in at the front desk was quick. Friendly staff. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Morning breakfast looked good. I just had coffee. Good location to many restaurants and shopping. Will stay again if in the area.

Greeted by a professional staff who were welcoming and friendly. Room was super clean and quiet. Made it easy to relax after a day of traveling or work. Breakfast was good but I wish they had more variety. After a few days you kind of get tires of the same thing every morning. Aside from that the stay was great. Would stay there again, restaurants were close and has a variety.

I enjoyed my stay. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. I appreciate the fact that it's a full breakfast (eggs, sausage, muffins, pancakes, cereal). As far as room cleanliness goes, it seemed pretty clean, BUT the carpets are old and have leftover smells in them. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed as a part of the UCONN Model UN Conference block, and we had an exceptional experience (again!). I booked this hotel because we stayed last year as well, and had a great experience then as well. The friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the rooms, and the breakfast options available all helped in making this decision. I will be keeping this hotel in mind for future trips, both for personal and business!
