It was too cloudy to see the aurora on the night we went but the place is very nice - snacks and hot chocolate or coffee included — plus warmth inside and fire pit outside kept us cozy on a cold night. The two guys hosting were very knowledgeable; we learned enough about aurora chasing from their presentation to do it on our own — and the last night in Alaska we finally saw the aurora in Sutton (closer to Anchorage). We also saw Jupiter with binoculars. Great experience!

The entire staff was amazing. My wife and I got to see the lights in all of its wonder. An experience and sight we will never forget. The building was warm, comfortable, spacious, and clean.

Rumi did a great job in her presentation and was very kind and helpful. I could clearly see the passion these kind folks have in their work.

The forecast stated cloudy skies, but it opened up for a few hours and put on one heck of a show.

What a wonderful find! We spent our first night in Fairbanks sitting in a car and saw no lights at all (what a surprise!) and the next night I found Aurora Pointe. This was the best night of our trip. The guides were so helpful and the setting was just perfect. Having an inside place to wait, with coffee, bathrooms, and heat included was the perfect choice. The drive out was easy in our rental car. One thing is that they say it is accessible for wheelchairs, but there is a lip of about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch onto their concrete patio and the gravel parking lot was impossible to push a manual wheelchair on. We were lucky our companion could walk a few feet but it might be rough if that isn't an option. Highly HIGHLY recommend for northern lights viewing in Fairbanks!

We have had 2 great nights of learning, viewing, and photo taking. Thank you so much to our excellent guide, Sage. He is so helpful and amazingly knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour. Very reasonably priced a nice warm place to stay and wait for optimal viewing, excellent refreshments, and very, very friendly help. Plus the photos that we downloaded after the night are just spectacular. Sage is an excellent photographer. I cannot say enough about Aurora Pointe Tours

Aurora Pointe was awesome! Sage was our guide for the night and was super kind and very knowledgeable. He offered much insight to living in Alaska and more. The place is super cute and is decorated with lights to make it feel cozy. There was a fireplace inside and fire pits outside. Plenty of tables and chairs were available along with very clean restrooms. Free snacks were provided and there were additional snacks and merch for purchase. Sage gave a presentation explaining the auroras and some pointers on what to look for with the numbers. We met many cool people and had an amazing experience - there was even a moose in the field! Sage also took plenty of pictures of the auroras and portraits of everyone! We highly recommend Aurora Pointe! It's a great price for an awesome experience!

Great location with very little light pollution. Easily accessible using your own transportation that is about 15 -20 minutes outside Fairbanks city limits. The team gives a presentation on what causes the Aurora lights and suggests a few apps and URL sites to help know when the phenomenon is occurring overhead. We have several great pictures (free with the reservation) that the Aurora Pointe team took of us with the Aurora lights behind/overhead of us.

Amazing experience!! Highly recommended! Yes, you can see the aurora from other locations that are free, but this is a great place to go to experience the aurora and to learn about it in a comfortable setting. Winter especially! It was very cold when we went, so being able to be inside while waiting, or around the protected outside fire pit was HUGE.
The employees were super nice and helpful, and they took TONS of pictures of all of us and the aurora which were then provided to us for free which never happens!
There was also coffee, hot chocolate, wine and cookies provided for free. The indoor gas fireplace was cozy and super warm!
We did this at the beginning of our trip and with what they taught us, and after being able to experience it all, we were then fine with waiting in our car the other nights. Though we did almost consider spending the money to go back cause it was so convenient! This is a must in our opinion!

Easily accessible from Fairbanks. Polite and accommodating hosts who give a presentation on the Aurora. If you're cold/can't see anything outside you can come inside to play board games and look at the TV camera to see if there's any cool Aurora activity going on outside. Indoor area is nice and warm. Good bathrooms. Complimentary snacks, tea, hot chocolate, wine available. They also have ramen and other heartier treats for purchase.
