We had a great time on this trip and are glad to support the Seaport Association! Highly recommend bringing some snacks and drinks to eat while enjoying the views. We learned some interesting history about the area and former residents of the island as well.

Fun day trip! The island is a great place for a picnic. There are plenty of picnic tables in the shade. There are some short hiking trails. The lighthouse has some interesting history.

Nice way to spend a day. Pleasant water taxi boat ride out to the lighthouse. Quick tour of lighthouse (can't get up into lighthouse). Building well kept, nice pavilion to sit under. Only negatives are bugs and goose droppings. Wear sneakers! Pack snacks and drinks. It's a fun trip.

This was a nice change of pace with a great tour guide of Norwalk on the cruise to Sherwood Island. It would be nice if they had more to do on the island. I suggest if you go to take picnic items with food and water because you'll be in the island for at least an hour with nothing to do.

The Sheffield Lighthouse Sunset Tour is a must-try experience. The knowledgeable guides offer interesting insights into the lighthouses and their history, making it an informative and well-organized tour. Visitors can expect to visit Peck Ledge, Greens Ledge, and Sheffield, and enjoy a comfortable two-hour ferry ride to each location while witnessing a beautiful sunset.

Great tour and fun experience, but once on the island be aware of deer ticks. They have signs by the nature trail, but they were pretty evident when we were there. Found 3 on our chairs in the first hour. Otherwise, great activity for the summer!
