The owner Erin is wonderful and takes amazing care of my horse! Everyone is so friendly and caring! Olivia has been giving my three year old grooming lessons and pony rides on my horse and she loves it! I would definitely recommend Silver Lining Stables!

The care is excellent and I always feel confident when I leave town that he is in great hands. Whenever I need something specific they are always accommodating as well.

Erin, the owner and trainer, has done wonders for my horse and my riding. We had been struggling with some issues going forward and now my 21 year old horse is going the best he has in the 8 years I've had him.

Can't recommend the farm enough. It is a laid back, welcoming environment for both horses and riders.

My family has multiple horses at Silver Lining Stables. There are three reasons we love it there:

The facilities are lovely: impeccable footing in both arenas, well kept well ventilated barns and immaculate stalls.

The horse care: The horses are kept on a precise schedule which I think promotes their health and well being. I am confident my horses are happiest knowing they get the same treatment at the same time everyday (turn out, turn in, feed, etc.)

The owner: Plenty of places in this area have nice facilities but how many have a hands-on onsite loving facility owner? Erin is wonderful! She is always around to ask questions of and bounce ideas off of. I never feel like I have to stress about my horse because Erin is keeping a watchful eye on things.

Large outdoor arena and beautiful indoor with great footing will keep you riding happily year round. The owner, who lives on site-is knowledgeable, experienced and professional, and an excellent resource for all things horse related. If you want to feel 100% confident that your horse is receiving exceptional care, this is the place for you and your horse!

I've been at SLS since it's inception...even before the new barn and indoor arena were built. The care and safety of all the horses is of primary importance. Erin spots issues often before the owner is aware of a problem. She is always watching the weather and makes sure blanketing is appropriate for the conditions...AND for the individual horse. She has a great relationship with her farrier and the various veterinarians. As a result, service is prompt and thorough. The indoor arena has footing that feels like you are walking on cotton batting....it is wonderful ! The people are all really nice and there is no drama. It's a great place for teens as well as adults. I wouldn't board a horse anywhere else.

We have been at Silver Lining Stables for a few years now and we can't say enough about what a great place it is. Our horse has changed so much because of Erin's care. There is all day turnout here, not just a few hours a day. He is a young OTTB and what kid wouldn't want to be outside all day! He has friends in turnout which he didn't have at our old place, so it's playtime all day with them! The turnouts are kept clean with fresh water even in the winter. Erin provides as much hay as needed with specialized grain set for your horse. Since we have moved him here with the all-day turnout and the change in grain, he hasn't been lame or had any hoof problems like our old place. He is just plain happy. She even does his laundry! As for her barn, it's big and beautiful. Stalls are large, clean, bright and dry. Hot water is provided in both wash stalls even in the winter. She even has special footing (travel lite footing) in the indoor arena. The best for us is, even though she has barn hours, you can come and ride anytime 7 days a week. We just text her we will be up late so she know who is in the barn. She also brings in people to run amazing clinics! You can participate or just observe. No pressure. My daughter and I love Silver Lining Stables, it's quiet, friendly and so relaxing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for board.

Beautiful atmosphere, knowledgeable staff. The rings are perfectly maintained and the barns are clean. The horses​ all seem relaxed and happy. And the barn kitty and dogs are amazing!
