Great food, great service and beautiful place. I thought I was going to get some water view based on the name but the place it’s actually located in the middle of a parking lot.

This is a classic seaside restaurant & bar. Atmosphere is pure Conn waterside. Food was outstanding. Table service fast & engaged. Drinks were excellent and came quick. Bartenders paid specific attention to patrons - with extra 'consideration' for all. Very intimate bar area. Great experience all around.

I had one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had in my life at this restaurant. First of all, there are a great variety of places to sit . Do you want to sit on the patio and look at the boats? You got it. you wanna sit inside? Beautiful space in there too. The lobster orecchiette (pictured) was creamy, lightly spicy, and full of generous portions of fresh lobster. Do not sleep on this dish - I can't wait to come back.

Good food & ambience, great cocktails. It gets super busy, we went at 3:30 on the weekend and the parking lot was packed. Nice fresh seafood, crisp Cesar salad, perfect.

As expected from some other reviews I have read, this was a great place for dinner! You cannot beat the atmosphere and setting. We arrived around 7-7:30 or so. We had a short 20 minute wait, which we took as an opportunity to have a cocktail at the bar. We were able to get some stunning photos of the docks and sunset...if I may say so myself. πŸ˜‰
I started with the crab cake appetizer. It came out as a rather good size which means, as in most cases, it was mostly filler and not much crab. Unfortunately, this was the case here as well. Still very good, but I certainly prefer much more crab. I would still give it a solid 3.5, because it was a decent crab cake.
The two entrees we had were an Orecchiette with lobster and a grilled salmon with rice pilaf.
The Salmon was grill well, meaning it wasn't burnt or tasting like a cinder. Luckily, they know enough not to have the grill too high.
The lobster dish was great. There was no shortage of lobster by any means. I counted 4 full claws and several legs as I shoved it down my gullet. It was served in an Alla Vodka sauce, which I think is a bit too heavy for lobster, but again, couldn't stop eating it.
The service was....mehh You can tell that our server was not trained too well, or was just tired from the day. Either way, she was a bit of an afterthought. Not very attentive, knowledgeable, or overly enthusiastic about much. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say it might have been an off day.
At the end of the day, it is certainly a spot that I would stop in again if I am ever passing through.

It’s a local favorite. Never really had a bad meal here. We had a group of 18 and it took us about 3hrs for all of us to start with drinks then appetizers then dinner and coffee and dessert. We all left very happy and full. It can get very crowded and super busy. If you have a large group make a reservation in advance. Service was good and food came out hot and all together. There was an amazing sunset with a view of the marina next door. A good size patio as well as tables indoors. The so close for the cold season beginning Oct 15th I think.

Food was good - nothing crazy special, but good. Salad had large onion rings and lots of black olives - not listed on the menu (yes, I'm being nit picky, but since I don't like either on my salads, it would have been nice to know to ask to have them held back for my order). Cajun scallops were delicious. Rice pilaf was pretty basic... and yet good enough that I cleaned my plate. Wine was crisp and cold. Service was phenomenal, with an atmosphere to match.
