I don’t usually write reviews, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to praise this incredible company. I was in D.C. for a short visit and, on a whim, decided I wanted to take a tour. On such short notice, I found this company on google and spoke with Adam he couldn’t have been more helpful or kind. He quickly arranged for Monte to be my guide that very same day.

Even though it was just me, Monte went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. He shared fascinating insights about Washington, D.C., and his passion for the city truly shone through. He even took some wonderful photos for me, capturing the magic of the experience.

It was an unforgettable tour, and I can’t recommend them enough! The professionalism, the warmth, and their genuine love for what they do make them stand out. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

What a great tour! Our tour guide Matt was a retired statesman, with tremendous experience working in DC. He knew everything and was great with my kids. If you want a small private tour in a luxury vehicle, highly recommended. We stopped at all the great spots and tour was highly customizable. We had a great time.

We had The BEST time touring DC at night. Mr Long was our driver and Monte was our tour guide. They were both extremely nice and patient catering to our needs. Our itinerary was personalized and we had a blast on our drive back home playing our own music and having fun while being 100% safe. Thank you at CustomToursDC for a great evening! We couldn't have asked for a better tour for our family of 4! We visited all the sites we were looking forward to, including finding relatives and friends both at Arlington and the Vietnam Memorial. Our tour guide Buck was the BEST we've ever had on any of our travels. He was great with involving kids and getting them thinking to ask their own questions, had so much information that was NOT on a boring script, and you could just tell he loves what he does! We'll definitely reach out again and would recommend to all our family and friends. Thank you!!

An absolute must if you are in DC. Our tour guide, Stephen, and driver, Leon, were fantastic. Friendly, professional, informative, kind and accommodating. We were a group of 11, traveling with my dad, who needed a wheelchair. They were able to provide and were extremely flexible in making alterations to accommodate. We didn’t have to worry about a thing as we toured Arlington National Cemetery, Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials. Made it so easy for our group - no worries about transportation, parking, etc. Just do it!

This was the best experience we had while in Washington DC.
Our tour guide Susan was wonderful.
She was very knowledgeable, insightful and extremely passionate about what she was doing. We learned so much that I wished we would have done an 8 hr tour instead of 4 hrs. I highly recommend Custom Washington DC tours to everyone! My family had a great time.

Matt was our tour guide - we had the best time. He was incredibly knowledgeable, made everything we saw interestintg, and gave us background on the history behind the tour stops. His insider knowledge of DC makes all the difference - whether it's a fun fact on the Blair House or his ability to navigate the driver through the quickest, most efficient routes. The entire family -including our teen - was entertained!
