A nice remote place to view Aurora and see how far remote people stayed and made home.
Our tour guide Zack was a perfect person and was very knowledgeable. Also they have lot tripods for people to take photos which makes it easy to get aurora.
Zack also stopped at different points when the aurora showed up and waited for it to become stronger.
They were very accommodating.

Came here in March last year. It's close unfortunately. You can see several layers of snow became a break. It's difficult to use the restroom because the snow blocks the door lol. Still it's a fun experience. Hope it can open earlier .

Amazing place for aurora viewing

Closed to the public, but used as a stop for aurora viewing for tour companies. We went inside one half of the building and were able to wait inside by a wood stove that keeps it just a little chilly so you can take your outer coat off. Bathrooms are outhouses bc you are in the middle of nowhere. They had hot chocolate, coffee, and tea for us to drink while we waited and games to play for entertainment if we wanted. A step above roughing it but well worth the stop if it is a clear night to see the northern lights.

Went with the Aurora light tour,it is a nice spot to observe the beautiful northern light. We were lucky enough to see this on the new year’s eve and the first aurora borealis occurred in the final countdown.

This was a stop point on the way to the arctic circle so the store was closed.

They have a bunch of out houses which was nice to use after on the road for a couple hours.

We stopped here again on the way back to fairbanks. The trading post is a great location to view the aurora borealis

Great location for Aurora viewing. Northern Alaska Tour Company does Aurora tours from Fairbanks to Arctic Circle Trading Post on Friday and Sunday nights.
