In short: A fabulous Experience! Visiting the Antarctic and seeing the penguins in their natural habitat has been a long held dream of mine. Choosing a Poseidon Expeditions cruise with the 114-passenger Sea Spirit was the absolute perfect choice. Their booking agents were very responsive and helpful. The 10-day journey was extremely well organized, the guides were very knowledgeable and enjoyable, the friendly restaurant crew's service impeccable, the food excellent, the house crew very helpful, and the front desk folks always ready to tend our needs. Being able to visit the bridge and talk to the captain and his crew was unexpected. We were pampered and felt very safe during the whole trip including the Zodiac outings, the hikes on land, the sea kayaking experience, the sleep-over on Antarctica (another dream come true) and the Polar Plunge. We set a record. 62 jumped into the icy water! Why not, you probably only have the chance once and you will regret it for the rest of your life if you don't take it. Each guide and crew member knew exactly what guidelines to follow to make this unique experience the best it can be. We were amazed that there were 23 nationalities of travelers on board. Sharing the same special experience created an instant bond. Conversations flowed easily. All announcements were in English, German, Russian and Chinese. The Antarctic is a very special and magical place on Earth and we learned a lot about what it takes to protect this fragil land. Keep up the good work Poseidon Expeditions!

We did the cruise to Antarctica from Ushuaia. Since the first moment we arrive to the ship all the experience was excelent!
The staff and the attention of the rest of the tripulation was amazing.
We booked the kayak program and definitely was a difference because we could enjoy most the landscape and wildlife this place gave us. Of course we also did land after each kayak.
Take into account that you had to be flexilble because in this place nature rules. Each excursion depends on the wind principally. We were very lucky because we could do a lot of things. Only the camping was cancelled and also the polar plunge.
Regarding meals, they were always on board, of course, and they were espectacular! Every day, different options you could choose.

Exceeded my expectations! As a single, the triple suite option made this trip affordable for me - roommates were wonderful! Expedition team was superb - knowledgeable, always friendly, helpful and available! Optional kayaking and camping experiences were amazing! Kayaked 6 times for 1-2 hours each! Who knew camping 1 night could be so amazing! I have traveled the world and this trip was my favorite!

Always wanted to explore Greenland (obsessed with myths and legends of Vikings) and finally, I got the opportunity. This was my second trip with Poseidon Expeditions. The leader of the expedition, Anya Erdman, is probably the best for this role! She shared a lot of information about Greenland. The rest of the expedition staff were also good - knowledgeable, friendly, they spent a lot of time with us.

I never thought that after my trip to Antarctica I would say this, but Greenland is the place where I want to return. This is a magical country, imbued with the spirit of the distant past. And I have not seen such blue icebergs anywhere else. We saw whales from aboard several times and I even had enough time to make a video of them waving to us. In general, if you are fond of heritage, culture and a super beautiful landscape for photography, Greenland is the place for you.

Incredible expedition company! We took a 2 week trip down to the antarctic circle with Poseidon, and it was truly above and beyond. The entire team/staff was kind, informative and prepared. The food was tasty, the trips off the boat were amazing, the activities were super fun and everything was immaculately clean. I can't say enough good things about taking a trip with this group. We felt safe with them, and they exceeded our expectations. We look forward to traveling with them in the future. The only negative experience we had was before boarding the ship, with customer service. The person that we scheduled the trip with was rude, incompetent and unprofessional. I have informed the company and I hope they take care of the situation, for future traveler's. My friend booked through a third party, and they had excellent customer service. So if you get bad customer service, you don´t have to completely write off the company. Consider going through a third party like Swoop. Happy traveling!
