We were married at The Riverview this past June. We loved the whole experience, from the initial tour to packing up at the end of the night. We also stopped by many times to show our family and friends what to expect on the big day. No matter who we interacted with, we were met with respect and kindness. This is truly a first class venue that knows what they are doing. The view of the river is gorgeous, and the chandeliers add glamour. The food was tasty and plentiful. We are so glad that we selected The Riverview for our wedding.

My husband and I were married at The Riverview last October, and from the second that we stepped into the venue, we knew it was the one. Start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations in every way.

The staff at The Riverview were phenomenal. They were attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but their expertise and support made the entire process feel effortless. They took care of every detail, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day without any worries. Our event coordinator, Kayla, tirelessly answered every question we threw her way.

The venue itself is stunning, and despite having rain the day of, the floor to ceiling windows served as the perfect backdrop for our portraits. The food was also incredible, and we've had guests still talk about how delicious the spread was. There were so many menu options to choose from, and the cherry on top was the ability to swap a traditional cake for an ice cream sundae bar!

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding. The Riverview provided an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever.

My husband and I got married at The Riverview at the end of August. For a summer day, it was very comfortable under the tent and during pictures. The minute my husband and I finished our venue tour we knew Riverview was where we wanted to get married. From the start we felt welcomed there and knew they would take care of our wedding. Meghan was our tour guide and she is super knowledgeable and friendly! Our coordinator Chelsea was outstanding through the whole process! She was always available for any questions that came along during planning. Assistant Evelyn, attendants Sophia and Derrick were all great during the wedding night as well. The wedding was truly just flawless! We had guests with allergies and great care and consideration were taken for them. We received many compliments from guests regarding how beautiful the venue is and how great the dinner was. Guests loved the short rib entree and the ice cream sundae bar! As the bride, I didn’t have to do a thing at the end of the night. They took care of all the cleaning and packing up everything. Working with the Riverview was a great decision!

Hiring the Riverview in Simsbury, CT was the BEST decision we made in preparation for our big day! Kayla, our wedding coordinator, was communicative and was sure to answer any question that arose. We were given great recommendations for other vendors as well. Then, on the night of the event, the staff handled everything with such professionalism and expertise! Everyone at the Riverview was courteous, attentive, and reliable! They asked us if we needed anything, packed up food, kept our gifts safe, and made sure that we were happy! We truly felt that we were in the best of hands. The Riverview provides the ultimate wedding experience and we would highly recommend this venue!

I had pictured a rustic barn and farmhouse style wedding however, none of the venues of this type were screaming out to me or my husband. We heard about The Riverview and booked an appointment for a tour, I was skeptical because I had never visioned a ballroom style venue. Once upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the receptionist with champagne and was given a very thorough tour of the venue. We sat down with the venue’s manager and was given samples of desserts while we listened to the details on packages, menu options, and add-ons. We decided to revisit the venue another time, this time with our 3 children in tow, and was given another tour. After the tour was over we were brought into an office for a second time hear all the options but they not only had desserts for us again, but snacks, water and coloring pages for our children. Everyone we spoke to during those visits were happy, energetic and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs working there. Fast forward to the 400-something days of planning, I was even more blown away with the communication and how clearly laid out everything was from the way payment plans were due, to when you would be scheduled for your tasting to the final meetings to finalize the last-minute details. We worked directly with Chelsea and I cannot put into the exact words to explain just how AMAZING she is! Not only did she keep in contact with speedy responses via email but she also helped me with odd requests like measuring how long the aisle was. She never seemed annoyed or frustrated with my constant contact and instead just seemed eager to help make this day an unforgettable one. Fast forward one more time to the actual day of the wedding and continued to be blown away. Not only did EVERYTHING go smoothly, just as planned, the staff that works at The Riverview is top-notch! The bartenders were so attentive, kind and one even reached over the bar to block me from hitting my head on the side of the bar when I bent down to fix my heels. The bridal attendants literally would give you their hand for you to eat over so that you didn’t get food on your dress. We enjoyed this venue and cannot explain how perfect of a match it was! Not only are the employees that work there amazing, the venue itself is spacious, the food is tasty, and the building itself is beautiful. We enjoyed the spacious outdoor ceremony and land to take pictures outside! My husband and I keep saying that we hope to visit again at another person’s wedding! We got married in November of 2024 and it was the most perfect day, thank you to The Riverview!

The Riverview took care of our every need. Kayla was so great to work with she was great with communication and always had the answers to our questions. Our day went perfectly thanks to the amazing staff at the Riverview. Our guests loved the service, food, cake, and Italian cookies. The cookies especially were such a hit! I would choose the Riverview as our venue a million times over!
