My husband and I stayed for a week at the cottage. It was great! Super clean and comfy and the view is fantastic! We had no problems during our visit but Ben was available if we had any questions. The highlight for us was when the moose walked in front of the big front windows and stayed for a bit! There is a grocery store nearby as well as a lot of restaurants and brewpubs! There is a lot to do and see within driving distance. It was our first trip to Alaska and we enjoyed it very much! If we go back to that area in the future, we would definitely book with them again!

We stayed at the chalet for 6 months during the winter and the experience was great! We had a great view of the mountains, easy access to Hatcher Pass and other recreational opportunities, as well as wildlife viewing right from the comfort of our couch!

We stayed at the chalet in July of 2022 and were pleased with the accommodations. The location was convenient as it was near gas stations, a coffee shop, not far from town, near hiking, and 20 minutes from the amazing restaurant Everett's.

If offered two bathrooms with 1 bed on the main level and two beds in the loft. The basics such as towels, extra blankets, a washer/dryer, and laundry soap were supplied. There was a decent amount of silverware, cookware, a toaster, a microwave, and a stove in the kitchen.

The view was gorgeous, and it was nice being surrounded by nature. The place was clean and up to date. I recommend this accommodation for the Palmer area.

My husband and I stayed in the Chalet for a week. It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely rent again!
The chalet was very clean and stocked with essentials like linens, towels, blankets, pillows, soaps/shampoos, washer/dryer with detergent, coffee maker and basic condiments.
The view was amazing! I would stay there again just for that view! I woke up every morning and enjoyed my coffee on the porch with that gorgeous view.
The owner, Ben, lives on the property and was very helpful. If there was anything we needed he made sure we had it!
We highly recommend this place and if we get the chance to visit Alaska again we will definitely stay here again!

This place is amazing! It’s in a beautiful location with an incredible view of the mountains and surrounded by trees so you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. You get the real Alaska experience and it’s close to town for amenities or hiking if you prefer to get lost in the mountains. Ben was so great to work with and went out of his way to accommodate us! We got married here and it was truly magical. I can’t recommend the place enough. If you have out of town guests or just need a staycation for yourself, I would stay here!

Rose Ridge is a wonderful find! Only an hour out of Anchorage with a wilderness feel and a five star view, we were already impressed. The cottage is really a spacious mountain house with two roomy bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen and a whole wall of windows overlooking the Matsanuka Range and Pioneer Peak. The hosts were helpful and friendly. We will definitely return to Rose Ridge Chalet.
