The sea called me for a silent retreat and connecting with the land and cold water was such a blessing. Had a great room for the disabled and staff helpful. As an indigenous person had compression being in a Catholic setting because of Indian board schools experience. Happy to share the retreat did not have bad spirits and glad I went. The only disappointment was the food it made me think I was in a geriatric unit tastles. Overall totally recommend people give it a try.

I always leave Mercy Center feeling blessed and refreshed. My last stay was in April of 2016 and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the helpfulness of the staff. The solitude, views and peacefulness near the sea is very healing. The food is nourishing and delicious. Lovely and comfortable rooms! It is a holy place with plenty of nooks to silently meditate/read/pray/ponder the beauty of God in natural coastal surroundings.
Thank you all! God bless you! Sue Fox, Anchorage, Alaska

I visited the Mercy Center in 2014 and 2015 as a participant in National Woodwind Ensemble. It is a beautiful place. I love the quiet, and the nice sitting rooms with a beautiful view. The workers are all so kind and helpful. The food is excellent, too!
I am looking forward to next year.
