An awesome, waterside wedding venue! As a wedding photographer who lives in the Greater Mystic area, I'm a big fan of Mystic Yachting Club.

Firstly, the location is great; the venue is right down the street from downtown Mystic and there are plenty of accommodations (hotels) in the area.

Secondly, the place is beautiful. If you're at all nautical in your wedding venue interests, you'll appreciate the boatyard next door as well as the marina out back.

Lastly, Lancer does a great job as a full-service catering provider. Their staff were lovely to work with and the vendor meal (which was the same as what the guests received) was simply delicious.

Definitely consider Mystic Yachting Club for your wedding day!

To Ariana and team, thank you so much for helping coordinate our wedding. You represent the venue but you were always so kind, willing to listen to my feedback, work with us and I am so grateful! Maybe I’m a cynic or just still a city girl at heart, but I had low expectations for the event. It’s a seaside town in CT in the off season, how good could the staff be? But they were wonderful, so professional, so attentive, so happy to help! The transformation of the space was incredible and none of it could have happened without your help. Ariana went beyond the calls of her job and I thank you for helping me to create our perfect wedding day. It was flawless, not a single hiccup, nothing I would change and I am incredibly thankful to you!

For venue owners, the building needs some updates and maintenance – paint would go a long way! When the lights are turned down for an evening event though, you can’t really tell!

When l travel l enjoy the scenery no matter where we go, but l seem to keep coming back to Mystic, it's a beautiful area for all ages, busy in the summer but a wonderful place visit, you wont find rollercoasters etc, but that's not mystic, just enjoy the scenery, the boats going by, the bridge that opens to let the boats go by, sit down on the green it takes you back to a generation that is peaceful but busy enough for the younger ones to enjoy, plenty of shopping! Great stores! Just simply said Mystic is the best place to visit in the United States.Enjoy the stay you'll be back,

My wife and I used Mystic Yachting Center/Mystic Yachting Club for our rehearsal dinner of about 55 people last fall. We have a great experience working with Danielle as our coordinator. Danielle was very flexible and accommodating even when we had what could be considered some very high maintenance dietary requests for the meals. In our case, my wife had planned and was providing a lot of the details (signage, flowers, etc) for our event, but Danielle and staff were very accommodating and helped us create the vision we were looking for. The venue was absolutely beautiful for an evening cocktail hour and buffet dinner and the food was very tasty. We were unable to schedule a tasting a head of time so I was admittedly a little nervous, but the passed apps and buffet were delicious and well reviewed by our guests! The staff also did a great job at the event and were a pleasure to interact with. Also, worth noting is that we did not have to compete with another event for the venue, despite the club having two floors. That was a definite plus. All in all we had a wonderful time, were treated very well, were happy with the event and would absolutely recommend it to others.

The Mystic Yachting Center was the perfect venue for our daughter’s July wedding. The building and grounds are gorgeous and well cared for. The event space provides movement for guests between indoor and outdoor spaces. Our guests were so thrilled with the river views outside and the beautiful woodwork in the ballroom. A huge plus for us was that this venue only hosts one wedding per day so the property was exclusively ours. The sales manager, Katie Kernozek, was so easy to work with and very professional. Her catering staff and banquet manager, Ashley, made sure every detail was executed on time and transitioned the bridal party and guests seamlessly from ceremony through the reception. We were also thrilled to have a kitchen on-site – the food was fresh and perfectly prepared. Our guests are still talking about the quality of the food and service! We would highly recommend the Mystic Yachting Center as an event venue for anyone looking for great location, food and service.

I planned a surprise 50th birthday party for my wife without ever seeing this facility, all from emails with Katie K. and everything was PERFECT. Ashley and her staff were wondeful, the food was superb, and the venue was beautiful. Many thanks to all involved !!!!
