The actual bartenders are pretty awesome just like the people of Palmer. It's a locals place. The establishment and the management well, to leave a lot to be desired. I wasn't going to say this until another friend of mine, well established individual in Palmer with family for generations and generations told me that there is an old lady that is a b... I knew exactly who he was talking about. She's not a b... she is a cun....t and if I wasn't being paid to play there in a band, I would have confronted her and told her to leave my town now and not afraid to use force. She yells at customers, not me, but I've seen her with her rude mannerisms. I figure she is just a transplant from anchorage. Hopefully she learns that we speak with manners in the valley. The management is actually from anchorage, it's new management. They hiked up the prices of alcohol and are pretty stingy with things. This review isn't something that should really be a deterrent to anyone because it's not a place that anyone would really go unless you are a member and-or a place you've been going for decades. It's off the beaten path. If you want a warm and friendly bar, there are others in town.

My Daughter and Her sweetheart had their Wedding and Reception at the Legion.. Beautiful atmosphere, Karaoke and love . I reccomend this place for events and Karaoke and dancing.

Just became a member and had the pleasure of doing business with them as well. Great group of people and a well maintained establishment. I would recommend other veterans join up with them.
