I had a vision for my wedding, but really struggled when it came to putting my all the pieces together to make a cohesive design... until Jaynie swooped in to save the day, and my sanity. Working with Jaynie was such a pleasurable and fun experience, from start to finish! She was easy going, yet energetic, passionate, and meticulous about making our wedding day fit the vision. She was supportive and communicative during the whole process, which helped ease a lot of anxiety and stress. This is the exact reason why I ended up utilizing multiple services (design/styling, rentals, florals, set up) rather than the one I had initially planned on. I highly recommend hiring Jaynie and her team for your big day.. it will be one of the BEST decisions you make. Plus, your sanity will thank you later.

We worked with Basswood Events Planning through our venue at the Chantelle Marie. Jaynie was our wedding coordinator and month of planner. Jaynie and her team were amazing! Leading up to the wedding day she made us feel super comfortable and answered any questions about the timeline and details. She made sure our wedding day went exactly as we wanted, and it was absolutely perfect. Our drinks were ready as soon as the ceremony was over and they made sure all our guests had a fantastic evening. Having a wedding coordinator is a definite must, it was so nice not to have any worries on the wedding day. We had the month of coordination services which meant that we did not have to worry about coordinating with all the vendors leading up to the big day. We would highly recommend Jaynie and her team for wedding services!

When I was looking for a day of coordinator for my wedding day I came across the Basswood Event Planning website and I am SO glad I did. Unfortunately, Jaynie was not available for our wedding date but she told me the other services she was able to offer including rentals. I ended up renting almost all of my decorations from her! She has pictures of everything on the website and even offered to set up a time to show me everything in person just to be sure I got what I wanted! Jaynie is extremely organized, easy to communicate with and super down to earth! I HIGHLY recommend Jaynie and her team for any wedding needs!

Jaynie and her team were absolutely amazing! As a DIY bride, my only stressor for my wedding day that I was worried about was set up and take down. I reached out to basswood events planning and they were able to put together a package of set up and take down services. After booking through them, my stress melted away! Everything turned out exactly as I pictured it in my head. I was able to share my vision board with Jaynie, provide her with the decor, and they made the magic happen!!

I’m a baker/ decorator and have worked with Jaynie on several weddings and styled shoots and she is honestly so amazing. Her own wedding she planned was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen. She had me make mini homemade apple pies that gave a personal touch. She is organized, detailed, and knows what she is doing. When talking back and forth with Jaynie, she is incredibly thorough and makes sure she is communicating all of the wants and needs of the bride and groom. I plan on having her help me one day on my own wedding, and hope to do desserts for many future weddings to come that she plans.

Working with Jaynie at Basswood was wonderful all the way through the process. Communication with Jaynie was great and whenever we needed to make changes to what we rented, she was beyond accommodating!

We rented the Sophie settee and used it at our sweet heart table, and it put the vibe to the next level. We also rented black linens, glassware, candle stick holder, and bud vases.

She also did our florals and we were beyond impressed in how they turned out! The pocket square florals for the guys and myself were so awesome. And my mom’s wrist corsage was epic, it was secured on a nicely covered snap bracelet! The snap bracelet made it so easy for her to wear!

My husband and I rented our beautiful bohemian, fringe chargers, our rust colored table runners, and our entrance sign easel from Jaynie for our August 13th wedding. We could not have been happier!
