For a place in the middle of nowhere it’s a cozy spot to stay, all the staff has been nothing but nice and warm people. You can tell they care about their jobs. The ocean shuttle was fun and I recommend taking a dip in the water if you gonna come all the way out there you might as well commit to it. The food was delicious and the room was nice and clean. The only complaint I have is that the restroom for women only has 1 shower stall. Will be visiting again in the near future

For Deadhorse, it meets basic needs including clean room and hot meals via cafeteria. Blue boot/shoe covers are provided or you are expected to remove your shoes inside the buildings. I'm not crazy about the community bathroom but it also was very clean. Given the remote and desolate area, it should come to no surprise that the overall facility is very dated. It's an ideal location to catch the shuttle bus to the Arctic Ocean. The drive through Prudhoe Bay is so unique as was the drive north on the Dalton Highway to Deadhorse.

Dead horse is not really a traditional US town you would expect. It is a basically industrial town with no service to tourists. Dead horse camp is basically the only place that offers some basic services to the tourist. They have room and food. We were glad to have a hot meal after long drive in the Delton highway. The shuttle bus runs twice a day at 8:30am and 3:30 pm to the Arctic Ocean. They provide towels for anyone who wants to do the Arctic Plunge. The tour guild is very knowledgeable and answers all our questions. All staff here are very friendly. It is certainly a wonderful experience to be here.

Low end dorm style bunk house motel. Community bathroom was dirty. Room was clean, but small. No key for room. So, you can lock while inside, but not while you’re away. Blackout curtains didn’t block some of the light, so expect to sleep in a lit room in the summer.

We booked the tour to the Arctic Ocean and Jack is the man. Jack gets in that cold water twice a day. Every single day. Jack knows about the birds and the wildlife. Jack was not able to tell me if the “bi-polar” birds turn around when they get to the top or if they just fly straight over the top to get back to Antarctica. I’ll definitely book this tour again the next time I go back to see if Jack has an answer for me. (I’m never going back.)

It will keep you from freezing to death. It's a room with heat. Not intended for luxury, it got the job done. Food was edible, nothing fancy. Expensive for what you get, but what are you going to do at the top of Alaska. Rode in, stayed, rode out. Checked it off the Motorcycle bucket list, will not go back.

Very basic. No tv, no in room bathroom or shower, not handicap accessible and change for Wi-Fi. Somewhat expensive for the amenities provided. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and warm

The folks that work here are top quality. A logistical situation arose but the people here went above and beyond to make sure that everything was corrected. Jack is a gem! Super helpful, kind, and willing to go way above and beyond what I expected to overcome an inconvenience in my travel plans to and from Deadhorse.
