Taverna Opa Orlando truly delivered an exceptional experience that blended vibrant culture, great food, and fun entertainment. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was lively, with upbeat music setting the tone for the night.

The highlight was the live belly dancing performance, which added an authentic and energetic touch to the evening. The dancers were skilled, and their interaction with the audience made the experience even more enjoyable.

The food was delightful! Everything we tried—from the fresh hummus to the tender lamb chops—was seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing. The baklava was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Even the service was commendable, with attentive staff ensuring everything was just right.

The ambiance and overall vibe make Taverna Opa a must-visit. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking to unwind, this spot offers a perfect blend of great food, cultural flair, and unforgettable entertainment. Highly recommended!

The location, music and atmosphere is great. The service sucked long waits with no drinks, ordered sauces and other stuff that was never delivered, had to ask other servers on the floor for things we needed and I even asked for a manger after some of the food had to be remade, and instead of coming by and talking about the issues he sent dessert to the table that had nuts on it and we have a nut allergy. Very disappointing as this is not a super cheap place to eat.

Wow! What an incredible experience! The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was outstanding. Fitzgerald went above and beyond to ensure our table was well taken care of. This is hands down some of the best Greek food I’ve had in the U.S. so far. I highly recommend trying the lamb chops—they’re phenomenal! When you visit, be sure to ask for Fitzgerald—his attention to detail made our meal unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back!

Loved the soup & octopus. Dancing with the belly dancer was fun. Will definitely return. Pro tip; come for happy hour which ends at 6 pm and the celebration hour of belly dancing starts at 7;30 pm. Parking is validated for 2 hours. Zachary, our server, was excellent.

I went for my birthday dinner. It was busier than I expected but I enjoyed dinner. If you are someone who is not a fan of a loud environment, you may not want to go at night. It was fun and upbeat for us. The service was great!!

We literally cannot recommend this place enough!! The food was outstanding, authentic Greek food with a wonderful selection. The drinks were delicious too! But what really sold us was the atmosphere!! The dancer was lovely and even got one of the girls from our party to dance in a table. It was so much fun and best way to end a long day at the parks!! GOOO!!! You will be so glad you did!!

The restaurant is very pretty and the food was good but it's overpriced. I'm guessing it's due to the entertainment. I visited on Sunday around 6:20pm.
I started with a Greek Mojito and ordered the saganaki as a starter. The drink was really good, I'd recommend it if you like mint. After 40 minutes, the saganaki showed up. From my experience at other places, they are supposed to toss some alcohol on the cheese, light it on fire at the table, yell "Opa" and then squeeze lemon on it to put it out. At this place, her lighter didn't work, so she kept clicking it as the alcohol was sizzling away on the hot pan, a guy comes over with a bottle, pours more and then lights it on fire with his lighter and walks away, she drops the lemon on the ground so she holds the thing until it simmers out. As she was walking away, I asked her to bring a lemon slice since I do like the flavor it gives. Overall, I enjoyed this dish.
I then ordered dolmades and moussaka.
The moussaka was really good, it had a thick layer of bechamel on top.
There were 4 dolmas but I ate one before the picture. They were listed under the cold stuff but they were warm. In my experience, they have been cold and the warm ones typically come with red sauce. This sauce is a lemon type of sauce and they were good but I do prefer them cold.
The website said the entertainment starts at 7pm but it started at 7:30pm as I was planning to leave. I ordered the baklava and stayed a little longer to check out the belly dancing. The baklava was large and very sweet.
It was a good experience but it's a one-time visit type of place for me.
