I just rented a 20x30 tent for our wedding from C&A, and I couldn't be happier. Alfie was great to work with and was able to meet our quick deadline at a very competitive rate. Their team set up and tore down, and even did the lighting on the interior and perimeter of the tent. Their tent was great looking, and the lighting was absolutely beautiful! I would 10/10 recommend C&A to anyone in the Mobile area looking to host an event.

I hired C & A events to setup lighting for my reception tent. We decided on these beautiful fairy lights and after we spoke with Alfie, we were very excited to see how they would turn out. We signed a contract stating that lighting would be installed on either the Thursday or Friday before my Saturday wedding. There were no specific times, the contract just stated TBD ( to be determined)

Literally TWO days before my wedding, Alfie calls me to let me know that he can no longer install the lights that I’ve asked for because the tent would not be installed until Friday afternoon. He tells me that he will just throw up some lights but that it will not be the initial lighting that I paid for. Not only was he going to just throw up some lights, he wasn’t even offering a discount.

After a few phone calls back and forth he basically tells me that I will have to pay him an extra $800 for him and his team to install the lighting because now he was going to have to work “after hours”. I was put in an impossible situation and folded, paying him the extra money simply because he did not want to work past 5:00 on a Friday. I am not one to normally write reviews of this nature but I would hate for another couple to experience the anxiety and panic this situation created for us just two days before our wedding.
The lighting looked great but not worth the experience of working with this company.

I wish I could give 10 stars. We realized the week of my daughters wedding that is was going to rain the day before and the day of the wedding. I called C & A and Alfie immediately got the ball rolling. Within a few hours of calling I had a quote and things finalized with a tent and chairs to be delivered the day before the wedding. He took care of everything. The delivery was as scheduled as well as the pick up. I can't say enough about the friendly and prompt service I received from C & A. My daughters wedding would have been ruined if not for the quick response and action of Alfie with C & A Event Rental.
