Its the biggest grocery store in town. It has almost everything. Everyone is very nice. They never run out of products on sale. There's a sushi bar and a starbucks with a large cozy sitting area. Baby Changing tables in the wheel chair restrooms stalls.

Signing up on the app for all the deals and savings is easy and the workers here are always very helpful!! Any problems I get when using the self checkout and a coupon didn't ring up or the price didn't change , I show the clipped coupon and price in the app and they help change / fix the price right there. Even when I have an item I no longer want, the workers are really friendly and take the item back with no attitude at all. I always have a positive and friendly experience with anyone in this store. Even in Starbucks! Get the app, sign up for the membership and save!!!

2 chicken wings $4.91 @ $8.99@ lb are they serious? Record profits, they have the highest prices so how do they justify charging like this? This is why they have a huge profit margin do they really need to charge this much? Oh and of course there's that merger in the news ( good show a profit for that one), their prices have increased for some product close to 60-100% from produce, to meats, dairy, deli items, bread. To be fair on the rare occasion they do have some lower prices but seriously you'll never see them lower the prices on a regular basis no matter what, never again

Aggressive employee at self-checkout, she may have been having a bad day but there is no excuse for her behavior. It appeared she was a short distance from being physically aggressive. At no time was I rude or aggressive to her, it was the first time I had seen this person. After shopping at this store for over a decade I will not be back. The response from Safeway was to contact us at an automated phone number, and after several tries, I never connected to a person. I feel I should be more specific about the incident. The employee aggressively questioned if I had rang up all my items and blocked me from moving from self-checkout. I handed her my receipt hoping to de-escalate the situation and told her I had rang up all the items. She looked at the receipt and told me it was unnecessary to give her the receipt. She crushed the receipt in her hand, balled her hand into a fist, and held it not more than 3 feet from my face while blocking my exit. There is little doubt that this employee intended to be threatening. Safeways response and employee behavior lead me to believe that this is an acceptable way for Safeway employees to behave toward customers.

I have quit using this Safeway in Fountain Hills as my main grocery shopping store. I go to a different store in North Scottsdale normally. But, yesterday I was in a hurry and ran in this store. Shelves were like covid on steroids! They didn't have the basics like half gallons of milk, they had hardly any cartons of eggs, shelves were empty in the aisles. This is definitely a manager problem. Now, I will have to make another grocery shopping trip to another store. Something needs to be done. The location of this store is great, but....... If we can't do a full grocery shopping trip there, then it's worthless. One would think at this time of year the shelves would be packed and specialty items would be out. Unfortunately, that is not the case at this store. Not really sure what is going on.
