Jaren was amazing! We found him at the visitors center and only had a short amount of time to spare. He was very accommodating and took us on an hour long trip instead of the standard 2 hours in order to get us safely back in time. He knew exactly where to go to find whales!!! We got super close to them. Then my husband joked that we haven’t seen a bear and he said he knew just the spot! He took us to the salmon hatchery and we found a wild bear hunting for salmon. It was seriously the highlight of our trip. Thank you for making this trip special!

We went out today to whale watch. We didn't have any idea what to expect. Jaren was outstanding. He quickly found several different groups of whales to see. We saw and heard them blowing. We saw multiple whales swimming, surfacing and diving with great views of their beautiful tails in the air. We saw otters, sea lions, bald eagles and multiple different birds. Jaren was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and ocean. Our group was so impressed by him. He was personable, intelligent and fun to be with. We would all highly recommend him. We hope to be back and will definitely try to go with him again. ♥️

What an AMAZING experience!! The highlight of our Alaskan Cruise adventure. Our captain Maureen was superb and knew exactly where to take us. Very knowledgeable of the area and super attentive. We were able to see so many grey whales at a very close distance! Highly recommend booking the Sitka Sea Level Adventure!

This was a magical lifetime experience! We saw humpback whales dive, float and blow against the beautiful SE Alaskan scenery. Maureen was an amazing captain and guide! She pointed out so much wildlife, sea otters with their babies, tufted puffins, and other native bird species. This was the highlight of our trip. We couldn’t recommend Sea Level Adventures more!! It was sooo cool to be on a smaller boat with 6 people, we were able to maneuver around quickly and get to know the other people on the tour. All in all, such a special experience, exceptional service and super friendly and knowledgeable guides!

An Unforgettable Wildlife and Whale Watching Excursion in Alaska!!!

If you’re a nature enthusiast, the wildlife and whale watching excursion in Sitka is an experience that will leave you in awe. Captain Jaren met us at the drop off point from the cruise ship. He was incredibly knowledgeable sharing facts about the whales, their migration and social behaviors. He knew exactly where to go to find these majestic creatures! We were able to see whales, sea lions, sea otters, and bald eagles!
With our group of 10 Captain Jaren and Captain Maureen kept our group of teens young adults and even 3 year old entertained. The boats were very comfortable providing ample view from inside and outside the cabin! Of our Alaska excursions this was our family’s favorite! Perfect for kids and adults!

We had an amazing day with Captain Brody at Sitka Sea Level Adventures! Our goal was to catch an Alaskan King Salmon and that’s exactly what we did. Captain Brody was extremely knowledgeable of the area and of course King Salmon fishing. He shared his extensive knowledge and experience with us as we explored and fished the Alaskan waters. The views were also amazing. We saw the lighthouse, whales, tons of sea birds, the beautiful mountains that surrounded us and of course the eagles. If you’re looking for a Captain who goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great day then look no further. The pictures and smiles say it all! Thanks Captain Brody we had the trip of a lifetime and will surely be back. ?

We decided not to book an excursion this day through our cruise ship and wow what a great decision. The food and sights in town were amazing and we found Jarento take our whole group out on our time. He showed us several eagles, sea lions, bears and salmon in the run!
He even let me jump off into the frigid water, what a shock!

Great prices, great views, and by far our favorite time the entire week long cruise.

It was a rainy day, but we had the best time on this excursion! We had Maureen as our captain and wildlife spotter. I literally can’t imagine a better tour guide. She was a wealth of knowledge, knew right where to go to see the whales (plus sea lions, sea otters, eagles, etc.) and answered every question we had. Highly, highly recommend this to anyone! We booked directly with them instead of through the ship, Viator or other 3rd party and I’d recommend you do the same. I took better videos than photos, but can only post photos here.
