Great venue! Did our baby girls 1st birthday here! Shannon and staff helped out throughout all the planning and went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly! We did an outdoor/indoor party in June. Weather was great and the views were amazing! Definitely recommend for any event!!

My best friend got married here and it's a beautiful local venue. They have plenty of space, indoor and outdoor. It's very clean, well appointed and well decorated. There is a bridal suite with a beautiful bathroom to get ready and a salon space with 4 chairs for makeup and hair. Grooms and gents have a fully separate area to get ready. There's a wedding suite for the bride and groom, if wanted. Seating areas on all 3 levels. Decks and patios. Outdoor area, tented with a fireplace. Gazebo by the water for the ceremony. The natural wood and decor is absolutely gorgeous and makes for great photographs. I'm a photographer, so that type of decor is great for photography backdrops. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. The views are lovely, especially at sunset. I wish I'd brought my camera, instead of my horrid cellohone and gotten more, and better, photos.

Honestly, I have nothing bad to say. When my boyfriend and I get married, I'm thinking it will be here! Beautiful place.

I’m so excited to hold a photo session with my extended family at Thousand Acre Farm! The scenery is absolutely stunning and will be a beautiful backdrop for our photos. The staff has been so very helpful in planning our session. They have responded to emails and texts in a timely fashion. I can’t wait to see how our photos turn out at this magnificent venue!

We recently photographed a wedding at Thousand Acre Farm. Shannon and her team were the absolute best when it comes to service and making sure things ran smoothly for our bride and all the vendors. Additionally, Thousand Acre Farm has some of the best views that Delaware has to offer in terms of wedding venues. If you are looking for a rustic wedding venue, Thousand Acre Farm is where you want to go!

My niece got married here last Friday. I was initially nervous for her after reading some of the (hateful) reviews which definitely has some ulterior motives behind them…because THIS PLACE WAS FANTASTIC! My niece is a huge Dr. Who fan and wanted a themed wedding. Everyone was accommodating. The whole grounds are so beautiful and a fabulous backdrop to any pictures. Plenty of little “nooks” to hide away and catch up with family at the cocktail hour or receptions. Corn hole and pool table also. Multi-level event (which does have an elevator for the 2nd floor reception (although not working when we were there). The only issue I would say she has was the limited time available for rehearsal wedged between other parties. However, that is understandable due to the busy wedding industry now with so many couples that have had to postpone their weddings last year due to COVID. Bartender was great and the food was good. I really just can’t say enough positive things about this place.
