This event venue is amazing. For weddings, there is so many beautiful areas for the ceremony, photos, guest house for bridal party preparations, and more. Their event planner, Danielle, was a God send. She and her team were amazing, and took care of everything so we didn't have to. Her recommendations for the dj, photographer and caterer were great. Everyone was coming to me to compliment the food and photographer. Everyone did an amazing job! I highly recommend this venue for your next event!

Who knew? Selbyville Delaware! VIEW was amazing.I spoke with one of the guys who's been doing weddings for 16 years and he said it's been there a few years but he loves doing weddings there! There is plenty of parking and dance floor room. It's wheelchair and handicap ♿️ accessible

I can't even begin to explain how incredible our experience here was. From the first tour, to the wedding day, everything was beyond what I could have imagined. Danielle was our "day of coordinator" for the wedding, but went the extra mile with every task at hand. She helped me plan the entire wedding in 6 MONTHS and even did things like book my flowers, and help reach out to vendors (which she did NOT need to do!). Like I said, she went above and beyond, and I had full trust in her going into the wedding day. I didn't have to worry about anything in the days to come, or the actual wedding day because of how on top of it she was. On the day of, a few VERY small things (that were out of our control) didn't go as planned due to windy weather and chilly temperatures. This affected some small things that I didn't even know about until afterwards because of how Danielle was on top of it all. She made wise last minute decisions, and was well prepared for weather that wasn't in our favor. My point in saying these things, is that I didn't have to worry about a SINGLE thing because I knew she had it under control! It was the best feeling ever and I truly can not imagine doing any of it without her. I was able to enjoy the wedding day to the fullest extent because of how prepared and organized she was. She made my experience at 100000/10. Not to mention how gorgeous the grounds are, and how there are dozens of places to take photos. I would recommend Danielle, and Smokey Hollow to anyone and everyone planning a wedding or event.

My wife and I did not get married at Smokey Hollow, but we worked extensively with Danielle in the lead up to our wedding. She was nothing short of spectacular and did everything possible to make our day special. She executed our weekend to perfection and her attention to detail was second to none. If there was a rating above 5 stars, Smokey Hollow would have gotten it! Their venue is absolutely gorgeous and has multiple options for you and your spouse to choose from for ceremony! The lake is gorgeous with the backdrop of trees and horses made for a wonderful view. Our family and friends absolutely raved about how beautiful it was. There was plenty of parking and finding the venue was pretty easy! The one suggestion guests had was that a big sign be added in the grassy area when you pull in to showcase this wonderful venue!!
The real reason Smokey Hollow should be rated higher than 5 stars is because of our wedding planner, Danielle. She went far above what we could have imagined to make our experience worth every penny! Any decor we needed, she was there. Any issue we had, she handled with grace and love. Any change that was made, she made it without hesitation or complaint. She even let me, the bride, get pictures with her horse, Rocky!! Her personality was bright, welcoming, and made her so easy to work with! The decor she was given, she made the venue look stunning with! Any kind of stress I felt as the bride, she was there to help take it away! The reason our wedding was so perfect is because of Danielle!
We hope that Smokey Hollow and Danielle continue what they are doing and give more couples this wonderful experience! If we could do it again, we wouldn't need to look elsewhere; Smokey Hollow has all you need!

Our day was absolutely perfect and was mostly because Danielle goes above and beyond! She was our “day of” coordinator but realistically she was helping us every step of the way. She understood our vision from the first time we met and made it happen! She took care of things from day one and made sure we didn’t overlook any detail, no matter how small. Our other vendors even complimented how well everything was planned and they all collaborated to work together! Danielle very quickly became someone in our lives that is special to us. Look no further for the prettiest venue and top notch service, you will not be disappointed!
