Loved our Grand-Adventure Tour. Darryl was our guide very informative and easy to talk to. We were not rushed at any stop and got to spend a great deal of time exploring each location. The van was very comfortable and we loved that the tour is for a small group. My husband and I are from Pittsburgh and this was our first visit. We met two other couples from England and enjoyed their company as well. Pictures don’t do it justice. We saw the Las Vegas sign, Hoover dam, the Grand Canyon, did the sky walk and the Joshua Tree. A great day and we were back in time to explore the Vegas strip! Lunch was delicious!

Alfonso was an awesome tour guide! We had a small group of 4 and he customized the trip just for us. It was amazing to hear all his knowledge of Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon. He has historical knowledge and is well versed in the geology and nature of the entire area. Thank you so much for a wonderful day and taking photos of all of us! He stopped at the best places to take our photos and put us at prefect angels to get the great shots of us with the landmarks.

We did the Grand Canyon Sunset Tour with Alfonso and it was totally worth the price and the time. Alfonso was our tour guide and he was amazing! He is friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiast and went above and beyond to make this trip pleasant, interesting, and exciting. I recently had an amazing tour of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam with Grand Adventures Tours, and I can't recommend them enough! From the moment we were picked up on time, everything was seamless. The coordination of the day’s itinerary was impeccable, including a lovely breakfast that set the tone for the adventure ahead.

Our guide, Alfonso, truly made this experience unforgettable. His wealth of knowledge about the history and science behind both sites was impressive. He shared fascinating insights and details that enriched our understanding and appreciation of the locations. Alfonso’s passion was evident, and he encouraged us to take our time exploring without rushing us, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable pace.

One of the highlights was how he captured our memories at stunning spots, taking countless photos that we will treasure for years to come.

I would rate this tour a perfect 10/10. A huge thank you to Alfonso for making this trip so special! It’s an experience we will cherish forever.

This was honestly one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. We did a tour to Yosemite from San Francisco a few days after this one and it really paled in comparison to our experience with Grand Adventures.

We did the Grand Canyon sunset tour in 2016 and again last year. The guides are great and it doesn’t feel awkward or commercial. The guides are all super down to earth. The van is very comfortable and the smaller group size makes for a much better experience. Because the group size is smaller, you can really get to know the other people in your tour during the trip.

The breakfast at McDonald’s is such a great way to start the day. The sandwiches they pack for lunch are also amazing (I still think about them sometimes). The guides know exactly where to go to get the best photos and avoid the crowds. They’re really great with the schedule as well: we mentioned we hadn’t see the Las Vegas sign before and Daryl kindly offered to add an extra stop for us so we could get some photos! It was pretty cold when we went and I didn’t bring an extra jacket or gloves but they had an extra set in the van that I was able to borrow.

The tour includes a lot so make sure you’re ready for a big day. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes since you also walk around the canyon.

I cannot recommend Grand Adventures tours enough. I’m so glad they’ve also expanded to doing tours of Zion as that’s on our list of things to see!

My wife and I and friends had a terrific tour using Grand Adventures Tours in September 2024. Our driver/guide was Alfonso Vargas who was sensational. He was prompt, very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and a great safe driver. We went to the original Las Vegas sign, walked on the Hoover Dam for at least 45 minutes, the Joshua Tree Forest, and the Grand Canyon Skywalk on the west rim. The tour included a McDonald’s breakfast and a very tasty sandwich/chips/fruit for lunch. Alfonso really made the tour very special and enjoyable. He provided a wonderful history and perspective of the places we visited as well as during our drive. He is also a great photographer and knows all of the best places for the perfect photo and obviously cares deeply about providing a wonderful experience for all of us. I would give the tour 5 stars and Alfonso especially 10 stars!

Paul was our tour guide and he was awesome. Some would have felt rushed but I was ok with being rushed to the skywalk because had we not got there when we did we would have been waiting a very long time. It was an amazing experience. It was nice not being on some big tour bus with lots of people. It was five of us so much more personal and Paul had us laughing the whole time. He was very social.
