My husband and I had our wedding ceremony & reception at The Executive on 10/26/24! It was absolutely beautiful! Pam was great throughout the planning process and truly brought our vision to life along with the other staff! We ran into an issue with wedding decor rentals two days prior and Pam offered decor the venue had stashed! It turned out better than what I originally planned for! The food was amazing and we will forever be in awe of the fact that we truly had our “dream wedding”!

With that said we were disappointed to hear from several of our guests the next day that one of the bartenders serving was very rude and made disrespectful remarks as drinks were being served . It was brought to AnnMarie’s attention and she was apologetic. It was also disheartening to hear from some of our bridal party that at the end of the night our coordinator Pam was visibly frustrated with an attitude and made the remark “ they really have to do that now”. We were having such a wonderful time we didn’t realize we hadn’t signed documents (simply signatures). As we rushed to complete them, I apologized to Pam and advised her we were going to be quick. At that time, she kindly replied “no worries”. Had we known it was truly an issue and she was upset about it we would have stepped outside. Lastly, when I returned to the venue about a week later to pick up jewelry that had been misplaced I mentioned to AnnMarie there was a bracelet missing as well and an older gentleman in her office without making eye contact condescendingly stated “that’s what was found”. We never had any issues throughout the planning process and again our wedding was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! We never caused any issues and ALL of our guests were respectful so to hear this and also experience it was a bit disheartening!

I would still recommend The Executive as our day will be an unforgettable one and we will still give credit where it’s due!

We had my daughter and son-in-laws wedding at Executive Banquet Hall. Pam and Ann Marie take all the worries and anxiety away. Their staff are outstanding! Pam and Ann Marie both have a calming presence. The food was excellent. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. Thank you so very much for giving my daughter her magical day

Visited for a holiday Aunt Mary Pat show. The buffet was well done, though possible food allergies were not listed. I am horribly allergic to strawberries, and they were in the mixed salad and fruit. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. The entire event space was decorated so beautifully, it felt extra festive,

My wife and I shot a wedding at The Executive Banquet and Conference Center in Newark, DE last year and had a wonderful time!

The crew at The Executive are spot-on and very friendly. They were always quick to help and treated everyone, including the other vendors, with respect.

Now let's chat about the stuff that gets my photographer heart thumping: the photo ops! The Executive has great photo spots out back and with a nice gazebo! The ballrooms are sleek and sophisticated, perfect for those classy, elegant shots.

The Executive Banquet and Conference Center is a real deal. Great venue for any wedding or special event. We hope to be back soon!

This was the first time I have visited this facility. It was for a work event. I was impressed with the size of the venue and the atmosphere. It was very clean with an elegant decor. The bathroom was emaculate (personally, I use bathroom cleanliness as a good guide to everything else as it shows attention to detail). The audio system plays through out the facility, including the bathroom. I don't know who my company used for the meals....since their appears to be a kitchen my guess is the facility offers catering. While I can't say I enjoyed the chicken as it was very dry; I will rave about the meatballs. They were a good size and tasted incredible. They offer a separate coat check room just off the lobby as you walk in. The lobby is large enough where you can set up a nice photo op area. They do offer handicap parking and have a drive around circle at the front door where passengers could be let out of the vehicle as well.
