If you are planning a pilgrimage, and especially a trip to Medjugorje, you should look no further. Our guide Josip is a native, with extensive knowledge on the location, history and everything there is to know about Bosnia and Herzegovina; he knew exactly when to go where, based on the weather, people available, and our energy level. Josip also unintentionally served as a spiritual guide by leading such a great example of faith in his own life, unknowingly helping us keep all of our experiences in perspective. Every word he shared was truly one to treasure.

As if the experience could possibly get better (it can), on top of that, Josip's co-leader Scott (one of Josip's first tour participants—go figure!) was extremely responsive and helpful during the entire pre-pilgrimage process. Any question I asked was answered within minutes. Scott also surprised us by showing up on the trip and being a huge resource on the ground in Medjugorje.

81 Tours has authentic and sincere staff, and I would go on another tour with them any time; I'm sure I will. Thank you, 81 Tours!

As far as my experience with pilgrimages go, this is the best pilgrimage group and travel agency group I've ever worked with. We traveled to Lisbon and Fatima, Portugal; various cities and towns around Spain specifically known as holy sites; and I ended my trip with them in Lourdes, France. It was such a great experience and I had a wonderful time: the tour guides they provide are wonderful and, most important in my thoughts, personable. At the end of the trip, you really feel like you've gained friends with the tour guides and agents of 81 Tours: they are great people, who really love God and his Church; moreover, they actually PRAY at the shrines and places of pilgrimage to which we go, which is nice and not always the case with other travel agencies and pilgrimage groups. They found us wonderful lodgings, gave us plenty of freedom and free time to explore the areas we stopped in, and also helped us stay on track and on time so that none of us missed out on anything important. My pilgrimage to medjugorje with 81tours was such a special experience. I didn’t really know what to expect for this trip. But my mind was blown and my heart exploded with joy for all that I saw and felt there, courtesy of our tour guides. They truly set up a well-crafted tour with so many special details worked out in advance. Led by Josip, a local of many generations, and Scott, who has traveled there nearly 2 dozen times, they know the lay of the land, personally. They say that it is their goal to provide an intimate and unique experience for pilgrims. They went way beyond that. They make themselves so personally available to ensure that we got the best, and deepest encounter with Our Lady. I simply can’t say enough about how extraordinary my time there was. I recently went on a tour with them to Medjugorje and I was thoroughly impressed with the balanced schedule of worthwhile activities and free time. In addition, they ensured each pilgrim traveled safely during the activities and heading to and from the pilgrimage site. I hope to go on more Catholic pilgrim tours with them in the future.

This was an amazing pilgrimage, with every detail planned out to provide us with a spiritually enriching experience. Scott, Magdalena, Tomasz, and Arthur couldn’t have been more wonderful and willing to help with anything we needed, as were the other guides at sites where Tomasz was not able to lead us (though he, Scott and Magdalena added information to those as well). And the Polish people and the history of their country were simply inspiring. I will be watching for future pilgrimages they put together!
