I recently had my wedding hosted at Lia's Catering/ Ballrooms at Boothwyn and it was the best decision we ever made!! Everything went so smoothly! We had our ceremony in their lounge room, and it fit our huge wedding guestlist so well! It was so beautiful in the ceremony room - we did an arch from Bonnie's Wonder Garden! Then we had cocktail hour in the Sapphire room - which was just outside the lounge room, so everybody loved being able to get to each room so fast! Then we had our reception in the Main Ballroom - all in the same building! Perfect for a winter wedding. Everything was so beautiful!! We were so appreciative by how nice, kind, patient the staff all are. We had a planner that took care of all of the details. Coordinating our wishes went so easily! I cannot recommend Lia's enough for hosting a wedding. Absolutely stunning - and for a much better price than overpriced venues in the area!

I can't even begin to thank Liana, Mark, Howard, and the entire staff for all of their expertise in helping my family pull off an 80th (you read it right 80!) SURPRISE birthday party for our mom.

Every attendee raved on the appetizers and buffet menu. Raved on the venue for the spacious room, dance floor, and wonderful setup that didn't feel too crowded together or spaced too far apart.

This team knows their stuff and even made the cutting of the cake (the cake had explicit instructions from the baker on exactly how to cut and plate it) like they've done it a hundred times before.

My family will be forever grateful in making this once in a lifetime party be most memorable for mom.

Great prices, excellent food choices, and most important for any party planner, a fabulous staff. If you're looking for a catered venue, Lia's has it all!

Contracted them for off premise catering for my son & fiance's engagement party. From the start, they were a pleasure to work with...suggesting changes to menu that would be more manageable for an in-home event, etc. They always responded to questions promptly. They followed up prior to the event. The staff showed up on time, and were professional, courteous and wonderful during the event. They cleaned and packed-up the leftover food, and left the kitchen spotless. The ladies were fantastic. As for the food itself.... there were NO left-over hors d'ouevres, they were so tasty that guests could not say no to another one! The dinner selections were also very good. The desserts - and cake were beautiful and delicious. We received many compliments from guests regarding the food (including presentation) and service (including serving the dinner buffet). Highly recommend. Would use them again.

I used Lia's Ballrooms at Boothwyn for my daughter's baby shower. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing our experience was! Everything was literally perfect. The room we picked was the lounge I believe.
It was a beautiful room! Perfect size for our group. The food was absolutely delicious, the cake was beautiful and delicious and the staff....couldn't ask for more. From top to bottom, a perfect experience. Would highly recommend thus place!

We got married here Friday night. Lia's really took care of us!! The room was arranged and decorated beautifully! The hors d'oeuvres were fantastic and entrees and sides were to die for! The staff is friendly, and respectful, on their game. Top notch professionals. They went out of their way to make sure our wedding was the event that we wanted it to be. This was a surprise wedding for our family and friends. They thought they were coming to an engagement party. The owners and staff did everything to keep that a surprise. Absolutely highly recommended having your event, no matter the size, at Lia's!!
