I really enjoyed every aspect of the restaurant! The view and breeze make this restaurant a must try! The bartender was very nice and helpful, and they have great, happy hour specials! Try the half and half crab soups it was delicious! Popcorn with old bay from the bartender was complimentary and delightful! Crab balls--almost all meat! The crab claws were very good as well! We will be back, and I want to try the Sunday brunch!

Awesome spot with amazing views and history! There is indoor and outdoor seating on a patio that also had a bar. Wheel chair ramps on both sides of the restaurant and plenty of parking.

We sat outside at the bar with a view of the water and Fort Delaware. Our bartender was amazing. Handmade our drinks (muddled fruits, etc) and had no problem adjusting a signature drink to remove something I didn't want.

There was also a couple at the bar that asked for popcorn and the bartender not only asked every bar patron if we wanted popcorn too, but made a fresh batch so we all had fresh popcorn. Little things like that make a huge difference in an experience and we thought he was so awesome.

We ordered happy hour food to give a couple things a try. The crab balls were delicious and packed with lump meat. Wings were so so...kind of dry but that happens sometimes and with a little extra sauce they were good. We also got the crab claw cocktail just to try it. Honestly, as a person that eats blue crabs during the summer I wasn't impressed. The claws were very dry, almost if they had been over steamed which made them hard to bite off the claw. If they are meant to be eaten almost like a shrimp it was really hard to do. My husband got the "best of both" crab soup and it was absolutely awesome in flavor and consistency...probably the best crab soup I've had in DE in a long time.

I would absolutely recommend this spot as a stop off the beaten path with great views and a good menu. Although some of the food we tried was so so, I 100% believe eating a meal there would prove worth it as I know there were many food options that were enticing.

I was at the bar, and my girlfriend Lauren and I were served by a young lass named Emily. I just have to say: she was completely stellar. Her recommendations were super on point and the whole atmosphere was enormously convivial. That’s a specific shout-out to her but Kevin, who was on earlier, was also fantastic. I would absolutely recommend this place, specifically for the staff. Yes!

The Ahi Tuna Nachos and Crab balls were great. Atmosphere was great, nice gift shop, friendly staff, and great food. We definitely enjoyed our lunch and cocktails. Can’t wait to come back again.

Today 9/18/24 my wife and I along with our Cane Corso and Lab drove up from Quarryville, Pennsylvania on vacation from Proctorville,Ohio when we arrived not knowing if we were going to be able to have our dogs sit with us at their outside dining area. I went inside and the manager Faye met us and assured it would be fine she was so gracious and very accommodating, she treated us like family. Then DeAndre came out took our order he was the best waiter that we have ever had the dogs really liked him and the other waiter I didn't get his name. So to all of you thank you so much for your hospitality. These were our first real crab cakes we've ever had they were a 12 out of 10. The deviled eggs with crab 🦀 were also amazing again thank for making our vacation awesome. They also brought 2 ice water dog bowls then 2 other bowls out for their half pound hamburgers, how cool 😎

Had a great Sunday afternoon lunch today. The salad was packed with protein and the fish and chips was delicious. I even had desert which I never have. Thank you Madelyn for great service too!

I love coming here! The service is quick and the food delicious! And the ice cream parlor next door is a plus!
