I felt it was important to included this first part for context and to help better understand just how special and important this day was to myself and my husband- For 7 years my husband and I hoped and prayed for a child together, yet it became clear this was not meant to be - not until a selfless mother contacted us about adoption.

It goes without saying that I wanted to have a beautiful and intimate adoption shower with my closest family and friends who have supported us during this long process. Saying Emily and her team are amazing to work with would be an under statement. Emily and her team decorated my outdoor wedding, which may I add it rained an entire week prior. Working with the Woven Dreams team made planning my own wedding that much easier. Not only was she savvy in having a back up plan for me, but when the sun finally came out she delivered in such a way that I could never have imagined. Emily has great attention to detail. Emily was an amazing decorator and I would 100 percent book her again when possible! She was very friendly, professional, and made planning so easy. She was able to switch up designs just a few months away from the date with no worries. We were in love with the table setting and were shocked to see the little clouds hanging over the bed.
