After planning my wedding for 2 years with the gracious help of Alyson and Brad my fairy tale wedding was able to come true! Having the option to extend our stay at the Hudson Waterfront helped keep the family and friends close and at once place. A large option of bedrooms and space for cots and air mattresses of guests that couldn't make it home. The only problem was not due to the hosts or the Hudson Waterfront but due to the construction that made it hard for guests to come in, Alyson and Brad did help with parking our guests, telling catering where to set up, and pointing our photographers in the right direction. The endless possibilities for photos helped a ton as well.

We stay at the Hudson Waterfront when we were visiting our friends at Plantation Lakes Golf Resort. We can easily take off for day trips. We have spent the day at Cape Henlopen, DE Seashore State Park, Bethany Beach, and Trap Pond State Park. We will have dinner in Millsboro and then return for a sunset view at the Hudson.
It is a quiet private location. The main house has kept the best of 1960 stylings. The bedrooms are large. The main house has nice gathering areas (lobby, rec room, outdoor decks), a large kitchen and dining room.
There are outside areas to relax and enjoy a beverage while taking in the view. They have a tiny cottage away from the main lodge. There is an onsite separate event venue for parties/weddings. There is good parking. The owners are friendly and return messages promptly

The estate of plantations ridge was the perfect venue for my best friend’s baby shower. Such a beautiful and unique locations. The owners had fabulous communication and helped make everything go so smoothly. Couldn’t thank them enough!

Our wedding was the first in the newly renovated pavilion. I was nervous but…let me tell you, Alyson & Brad worked their butts off to make our day above and beyond anything we could have ever imagined. It was so beautiful, from the flexibility, to rehearsal, to the day of ceremony & reception. I am so thankful and grateful for everything they did to make our wedding so absolutely perfect! Alyson even helped me put my dress on! I highly recommend booking this venue/Airbnb for any wedding, event or simple relaxing weekend away. The house was exceptionally clean, and whatever we needed, Alyson and Brad were more than available, at any time!

The perfect place to have any kind of event. Alyson and Brad went above and beyond expectations to help make my wedding weekend absolutely perfect. After losing my original wedding venue with 4 months left till my wedding day I stumbled across this venue. Alyson and Brad worked with me on everything. With rooms for my out of town guest, food vendors, bar set up, photographer, DJ anything we needed they knew who to suggest. They communicated with us in the months leading up to the weekend, made themselves available 24/7 in case we had any questions, and on the day of the wedding they were happy to take care of things that went wrong without hesitation. We had a small situation take place at our wedding but the both of them jumped into action and took care of our issue without upsetting our guest. Alyson and Brad are exceptionally owners. The venue was stocked with everything we needed, the getaway suite was perfect for the honeymoon, and the whole atmosphere was magical! We have used this venue repeatedly since having my wedding In 2022. Highly recommended!

The Estate at Plantation Ridge was a unique venue that caught my eye instantly when I first saw it (especially how spacious and pretty the interior design was). Alyson told me the history of the property and their plans to keep working on it to make it even more stunning. From when we booked the venue (well over a year before our wedding) up until weeks after the wedding, Alyson has been easy to work with, helpful, and very responsive. She’s a go-getter and has great vision! Even though it rained on our wedding day and we didn’t get to fully enjoy the outdoors, Alyson and Brad were able to help us accommodate to moving everything indoors. I can’t say enough positive things about the owners 😁 and the venue was wonderful!
