This complex is gross, bugs, roaches, mold. The health department closed the pool over the summer . Here's a photo of the glue trap I left out just over night. They keep saying they are treating for the infestation, but nothing changes. In fact it got worse. Supposedly they treated the apartment three times this month. I hired a professional cleaner to ensure the problem wasn't the apartment, but the problem persists. The front office acts as if I'm being unreasonable because I don't want to live in a bug infested hellscape. They also take forever to do any basic maintenance like I've been waiting for my screen door to be replaced for months. There are leaks in the ceiling and the walls and all they do is paint over the water spots. Do not consider this place if you have any other options.
Edited to say that before management replies like they want to help, try actually doing something, not just writing fake concerning replies. I want change, not platitudes. I was in the office today and they couldn't have cared less. Fix the problems and then I'll post the photos of change.

I was stuck here for years. Roaches, mold, no working heat, crackheads.. but the worst part is the noise. You can hear everything the ppl do next door or upstairs even if they are just talking. The people upstairs constantly stomping around on the floor I was scared the ceiling would collapse the whole time.

genuinely the worst place I've ever lived BY FAR. do not move here, I cannot stress that enough. roach and mice infestation, water heater issues, laundry rooms are disgusting, and the stair well always smelled like piss. If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. I moved out almost a year ago and it still haunts me.

Do not move to this place!! It is so infested with bugs and mice and the management doesn’t care because all they care is collecting rent money and unwanted charges. When we first moved in there was already a small scratch on the kitchen floor so we immediately told them about it and they said it’s been there before we even moved in and they wouldn’t charge us for it but they LIED because they charged us $300 for it after we moved out without any explanation and threatened to affect out credit scores!!

If I could give this place a zero I would. I personally don't live here. I have a friend that do. They tow ur cars and u have to pay to get it back. Let's talk about the mice infestation, there inside the wall, they chew threw ya food, and walls.laundry fabric sheets, . Call the office only thing they want us the rent and for u to live n bad conditions. Charging 1400 like it's luxury. They know these apartments ain't worth 100 dollars. False advertisement. They can change owners it will always be Rodney Village. The office ladies attitudes are ridiculous. Exterminator only comes to throw powder down to see if u see the rat foot steps.. u can call in complain a 1000 times, it's not going to solve the infestation of rats or roaches. They don't care how folks live why because they don't have to live in poor condition. If you don't pay your rent they take your name off the exterminator list.. I'm pretty sure corporate doesn't kno this. Only person to respond to these reviews are the apartment complex..

Do not rent from this place! They have bugs, even though it says in the lease it is pest free (yeah right) they say they have exterminators but after 3 or 4 visits all they do is make the issue worse somehow.....people flush things down the toilet that literally cause sewage to back up and fill the bathtub to the point of OVERFLOWING and then they don't replace carpet or doors that were effected by sewage. Brought me a bedroom door that "they have tons of just lying around" and the bedroom door will not even close properly because they brought the wrong size and never fixed it. Leak in the bathroom ceiling that they took over a week to address once it finally caused the ceiling to fall in and then they magically fixed the leak but had no idea where it was coming from......which then moved from my bathroom to leaking in the utility closet. Mold inside the ceiling from water damage, water damage on support beams. When people move out they just rip everything out and slap a new coat of paint on.....over bugs and everything and ive got pictures of roaches painted in to the wall......Just slum lords all around over here.

If I was you I wouldn’t move here! Or consider visiting the laundry, the pool and the gym they have there before signing a contract.
Oh! And they will tow your vehicle if you don’t have the sticker they give you to put on your windshield (exposing your address) even if you already registered your vehicle with them, and have to pay to get it back. Last time my friend that still lives there (will move out soon) had to go get their car all the way to Wilmington and had to pay $300+ to get their vehicle back. Last time I visited them moved my vehicle from in front of their apartment all the way to the back, plenty of parking spots were empty, went for lunch and when we came back my vehicle wasn’t there they towed it like 3-4 blocks away (parking spots were still empty) and had to pay to get my vehicle back. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Oh and they keep increasing the rent. Just ask anyone that lives there.
