I have held 2 events at the Sapp House. My daughter’s wedding celebration was a beautiful event in a beautiful historic home. This made her garden party dreams come true. The house was the perfect backdrop!
We held our class reunion here as well. It was a totally different event and still the perfect space. It gave plenty of room for groups to break out for private conversations as well as enough space for mingling.
My favorite part about the house is the owners. Maggie is such a pleasure to work with. She is kind, thoughtful, and listens to what you envision for your event. I highly recommend the Sapp House for all of your event needs!

This place is pretty awesome. If you got a "thing" to celebrate this place is super cool. Has all the old original woodwork inside, the view from the second story out to the bay is nice with the sunset. The lawn is roomy and the porch is fantastic for just hanging out on and enjoying the party.

My husband and I fell in love with The Sapp House immediately after touring! The house has so much character and natural lighting, the whole upstairs bridal area is great for brides and their party to get ready, and the groom also has a room downstairs too! Plus, leading up to the day (and even day of) the owners were so friendly and helpful! Anyone looking for a wedding venue, I definitely recommend!!

The Sapp House was a picturesque and perfect venue for our wedding ceremony and reception on March 13th, 2022. Alicia and the staff made our day more spectacular from start to finish. The front porch provided a beautiful backdrop and adequate space for minister, bride and groom and six attendees for the ceremony while 60 guests viewed from the lawn towards the beautiful rose bushes and pillars on the porch. The front porch also provided staging for my daughters to sing during the ceremony. The porch swing makes a great photo as well of bride and groom. The upstairs bridal rooms with gigantic antique mirrors and chaises as well as the natural light in the makeup room added to the uniqueness of this venue. The multi-tiered staircase is a perfect picture backdrop for any bride with a cathedral length gown. The outdoor patio is great for a band and dancing (check out the patio in person as it is bigger than it appears in pictures). The back lawn is well maintained and tables are arranged for pictures to be accented by the historic home and oak trees. I loved being able to see everything come together on the lawn while peeking in from the upstairs makeup room. If you are looking for a venue that requires little decorations due to historic and picturesque qualities, The Sapp House was a fabulous location with all attendees and participants enjoying the day immensely! The Sapp House is the perfect place for events! I just helped host a baby shower here and it was amazing! Planning our event was easy, and we had to bring minimal decorations because the house already has SO much character and history. Their on staff event planner made everything a dream! She was so helpful, accessible and made setting up easy! If you want an event that will continue to be talked about and has history and character in the venue itself, this is the place!

We had a great experience! They were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond our expectations to help us prepare. On top of that the venue was beautiful! We put a tent up in the backyard for warmth on a cold winter night! I would recommend this location to anyone who has an upcoming event/wedding!

I was recommended the Sapp House by a family member for our marriage celebration. I am so glad we chose the Sapp house for our party, the owners of the Sapp house have been more than accommodating. They really did go above and beyond to help us be successful in throwing an amazing surprise gender reveal on top of our wedding celebration. They are very professional and are quick to respond to messages, calls, and needs related to updating rental equipment. They are very easy to work with and we look forward to hosting future parties at this site.
So if you are looking for a unique, historical spot to hold your special event, I would highly recommend the Sapp house. You will not be disappointed.
