I’ve had several events at O/E, for work and family and I’ve never been disappointed. From the initial consultation to the day of the event, Ms. Chambers and her staff ensured that all of my needs were met and went above and beyond in the creativity department. I have referred her venue and services to others and they were very pleased. If you want the regular, run of the mill event this is not for you. However, if you’re looking for high quality, originality, and the wow factor then OE is the place for you.

This hall was beautifully decorated, the size can easily accommodate a large number of people. It was little hard to know I was in the right parking lot as you enter from the back with not much lighting. If you are familiar with the area, no problem. Very large venu to have one bathroom, but it was large. DJ was great and the food good. The wait staff was as good as any high-end restaurant. I did enjoy the event.

If I could give this place a zero star I would. It was such a terrible experience. Buckle in!
On the day of my event I call multiple times to confirm my time to set up. No answer! So I call from a different number and she picks up and I ask her what time can I come to set up as I’m driving to the hall. She states that they’re having “plumbing issues” so I wouldn’t be able to use the hall. And I tell her that I am on my way to the hall so I can start decorating it’s fine. Now she’s real adamant about saying you can’t use the hall if there’s no restroom so I asked were you ever going to call me and let me know of this situation. “Oh we can put you in another hall” and ends the conversation there. No apology, no professionalism whatsoever(keep this in mind)

I get to the hall and knock on the door and see people cleaning, seemingly getting ready for another event. When they come to the door, I say oh hi I’m here to set up for my event. She looks confused and says we’re just cleaning and there’s no events today, you would have to call the owner and I ask “is there a plumbing problem” and she looks confused and says “no”.

I said, “call your boss” she calls and the lady is rude, curt and unprofessional. She begins to scream at me, and say all these other things and screams “I already told you, I would put you in another hall”

I say that is not the problem. The problem is you not calling me in advance and informing me of the “situation “. I have invitations are already out. And people coming from everywhere. So that leaves me, scrambling, not knowing how this other event space looks and what I’m going to do and she just hangs up in my face.

She never apologized or answered my phone calls. Come to find out I drove by and another event going was going on. Didn’t look like any plumbing issues. I was livid!!!!!!! And it’s black business owners like you that give others a bad rap because how do you expect people to support you now? Or trust to do business with you.

The experience at OE was amazing, the space is perfect for any occasion. The love the fact that it’s a one stop shop, rental space , decorations, Dj and more. They also have security and a huge parking lot behind the facility! I strongly recommend OE for your next event!!

It was a great experience. Private security was provided and the owner made sure that all parties involved felt comfortable. Would not mind having another event at this location. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Nice venue space. Decorations can be included in rental for an additional cost. Highly recommend for any event!

Horrible experience. I’d give this place a negative zero if it were possible. The owner is super entitled and rude as ever! I wonder if people spoke to her kin in the manner she spoke to mine would they accept it? I’m sure she wouldn’t. It’s pathetic and disappointing to say the least.. I usually prefer to work with black folks who’s doing great things but this individual sucks terribly and makes you NOT want to support. My hard earned money being put into a place and instead of working with us you yell and shout? Barbaric behavior and that’s me being somewhat polite. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND just save your coins and book elsewhere where the funds and service would be appreciated. This was not a favor, money was put into this. Never, never, N E V E R, again.

If your for an affordable yet beautiful event, most definitely come here. Staff is great and provides a great experience at such an affordable price.
