I originally booked Asheville Brews Cruise for a tour for 18 people for my bachelorette, originally scheduled for October 2024. Due to the hurricane, I had asked to reschedule my booking to the end of March 2025. I had put down an over $1000 deposit, which I was told was fully refundable at the time of my booking. At first J.C. was very communicative and said that he was happy to reschedule and that he would send the updated paperwork. However, I never received the updated paperwork and tried over 3 months to get a response from J.C. as to whether Asheville Brews Cruise would still be able to provide a tour for my bachelorette.

With no response, I assumed that Asheville Brews Cruise could no longer support a tour for my bachelorette party and therefore booked a tour with a different company and asked for a refund of my original deposit. With again no response, in February, I finally tried messaging Asheville Brews Cruise over Instagram to get a refund on my deposit. J.C. finally responded and noted that he would reach out about a refund. But to this day I have still not received that refund after trying to communicate with Asheville Brews Cruise over email, text, and through multiple phone calls. While I understand that all businesses in Asheville are going through a hard time post hurricane, the lack of responsiveness over 5 months and failure to refund my substantial deposit has put me at my wits end. I would not recommend booking with this company for any future tours.

Amazing experience! JC knows anything and everything about beer. He even made sure we had water at each stop. Well worth the money and we will definitely book again when we return to Asheville. If you like beer, you MUST do this tour!

Brews Cruise is the OG of brewery tours and the experience shows. We had a blast! Who would have thought riding on the short bus could be so much fun? JC was our Sensei and he has a black belt in beer. He kept everything fun and educational. Do not miss out on this experience.

J.C. is the right man in the right place! We got this tour from our great friends who live in the town and we really thanks them for that experience! All you want to know about the Asheville beers and breweries, just ask the guide. As we are from the country where the "beer was born" (Czech Republic, Pilsner) I appreciated the knowledge of that history as well 👍 We spent a lot of fun there and tasted many types of beers during the tour, the Brew Cruise bus was amazing, we met nice people from other countries. Absolutely recommend that 🍻

We had a great experience with Asheville Brews Cruise! Jeff was a fantastic guide/host. He was so personable and knowledgeable about all things beer and Asheville in general. We had a group of 10 (2 non-drinkers) and we all really enjoyed the tour. My dad even found his new favorite beer at one of the brewery stops. We weren't expecting to drive around in a converted school bus, so that was a fun surprise, too!

The Brew Cruise was a wedding gift to my husband and I this past Fall. We finally took advantage of this gift this past June. What a great time! JC is a wonderful host and a great tour guide through the downtown area of Asheville. The three breweries we toured in Asheville were clean, inviting and had great beer! We will definitely take our out of town friends and family members back to these breweries. I highly recommend this tour with JC, it was very fun, entertaining and educational. What a great gift!

The Brews Cruise was an excellent experience. I booked a private tour for a bachelor party and we all had an absolute blast.

This was a small group of 4. We were supposed to have a bus but it was changed to walking tour because of bus mechanical issues. Since the weather was gorgeous we didn't mind and it was a great time. The guide, JC, was very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about all the breweries we visited. JC did a great job and the other couple on the tour were a delight. This was my second time participating in the Asheville Brews Cruise and I highly recommend it. All the beers sampled were unique. I think it is well worth it! Thanks JC for a great night in Asheville!
