June 2nd 2024 at 4pm, we had a great time during the Mural Art walking tour in the River Art District. Our guide was very well prepared and very knowledgeable. It was just amazing all the graffiti & murals we discovered. Not being from Asheville, we learned some history on the city and the art development. The full hour flew by. It's worthwhile and very recommended!

June 2024- update WellCare of NC had a Team building event and saw all the murals and it was awesome! The team across the state came to Asheville and it was a perfect place to see the diverse murals and blended community growth! Great job Krista and Louis! 🙂

What a fantastic tour of the murals in Asheville and town history. I am a local and I never noticed the 300-400 murals around town. I loved hearing about the amazing local artist that we have! Krista and Louis do a super fun and informative tour!

Blown away by this tour!! As asheville locals, not only are Krista and Lewis so knowledgeable about all the murals, their artists and the history behind them, but they know the best places to recommend. Weather your looking for recommendations for resturant or breweries or shopping or where the locals hang out, Krista knows somewhere. Perfect if your starting vacation wanting to get a feel of Asheville, Perfect for the end of vacation if you want to learn all about the artwork you continually passed. Cant recommend Mountain Murals enough!!

Krista and Lewis did a wonderful tour of the art murals in Asheville. i would recommend this tour to all. Its another side of the city that you should not miss.

Had so much fun and learned a ton on the Mountain Mural tour. The bus was air conditioned and cool on a steamy day so that was much appreciated. Krista and Lewis were really engaging tour guides and a super fun couple that bounced back and forth talking about the murals and history of Asheville. We lucked out and got to see a mural painting being done before our eyes! They know so much about the artists and pointed out things I’ve walked by but never noticed. Highly recommend!

I’m local to Asheville and I’m so happy I took this tour! I learned so much about the beauty, creativity and ingenuity of the artists who live here. (And also artists who have visited here to paint murals). I took my 11 year old on the tour and he also loved it. Afterwards we were constantly pointing out murals we saw and new ones to family and friends. I saw my city anew after this tour! Sadly many of the murals we saw in the River Arts District were likely destroyed by the flooding of Hurricane Helene. I’m so sad for our city, our people, our artists, and our art! I hope that Mountain Mural Tours can continue and show visitors and locals how we are rebuilding and redecorating and also new murals in other areas of town where the art has survived. I will sign up again in a heartbeat!

This is the best tour in Asheville! Perfect for families, tourists, art lovers, etc. The murals in Asheville are amazing and Krista is incredibly knowledgeable about the art, the artists and the city of Asheville. She and Lewis create a relaxed, fun, environment and the bus is very comfortable. We liked walking around West Asheville and riding around downtown! Highly recommended!
