How did I not come here before? Living in this area for quite some time, I visited chefs haven for the first time this week and it was wonderful! I really loved their pistachio ricotta cake. I also got a loaf of sourdough bread and my family and I polished away 75% of it within 10 minutes - delicious!!

Terrific breakfast pastries and artisan breads. Small selection of desserts, but you can't skip the Napoleons or the chocolate layer cake.
Mark is an accomplished gourmet chef. His small group classes are an interactive delight. Try one. You'll love it.

Hands down the best fresh baked bread in the state. I get the baguette every time I'm in there. Country and Sour Dough are top notch too. Great selection of cheeses and chocolates. Also offers cooking classes at night in a nice intimate atmosphere. Loved the Thai class and French Bistro. Check it out.

Great food and service at Chef's Haven. A must visit to try his gourmet foods made in the shop! We tried the NE Clam Chowder which was delicious and the new rib eye steaks he has are super flavorful! All items we've tried are great!

What an amazing find! The staff was incredibly friendly and the bread was DELICIOUS! We also got cheese and desserts. I honestly cannot wait to come back and try more. I am so happy we found this place. It is a true gem in the area!

This is in regard to the retail side of the business only. I drove about 30 minutes to visit this shop. From the minute I walked in until I left with my purchases the owner was complaining and generally negative and surly. The website is not accurate - sourdough is not available. You have to order it. If you cannot be pleasant to your customers, close the retail side. I may not have a culinary degree but I do know how to treat patrons who are giving you money for your products.
