The tour guide seemed to be very nervous and unsure of what to do. Unfortunately, she did not know much about the historic facts of the city and one of the other tourists were filling her in on the history. She was very nice, pleasant, and easy to talk to but needs more experience. The food was mediocre at best. I understand that the Rathskeller is the oldest restaurant in Indy but the food is not good. I also understand that two of the restaurants on the tour recently closed and the Taste of Indy Food Tours were scrambling to find replacements. The new restaurants, especially The Garage were not prepared for us. Arrangements were not made in advance to have seating for all of us so once we got our food we had to cram in a table with other people, then walk and eat to stay on schedule. The best part of the meals was the ice cream at the very end. I know this can be a better tour, especially for $73!!

The food was great and plentiful but the tour guide did not share much information about each stop. Also, one person in our party let her know in advance she was a pescatarian and no modifications were made for her.

The food part of the tour was great. However, the tour guide clearly missed the mark. She lacked an enthusiastic aspect that comes with this type of job. Many times she simply said “umm, I can’t remember that right now.” Our second stop on the tour, she was doing jumping jacks behind us in the bar, she said she was cold.
There was no personable conversation. We all looked at each other like, OK 😩. She is representing this tour company, the city of Indy and the restaurant's on the tour.

We really liked the tour guide. I had never been to the Rathskellar and enjoyed the food. The second stop was at a wine bar. My 3 year old grandson had to come with us at the last minute and the server was so kind bring him sorbet and Sprite in a wine glass. The only thing I would change is the last stop, we had nowhere to sit because it was so busy. We were looking forward to the ice cream but the three year old was running out of steam and we didn't get to stay. I would recommend.

I was on a group Dine Around with my wife's company with Taste Indy running the show. Great food selections, with wine to match at some excellent restaurants in downtown! All and all It was a wonderful experience and next time I am in town I plan on checking out the City Market Tour they have. I remember it from my childhood but I am sure its changed hopefully!! Anyways, it was a wonderful experience

Had a great time. The variety of foods was delicious. Our tour guide clearly had a lot of information, but there was not enough time in the tour to fit it all in.
