Working with Lola & the MasterPlanEvents team was a true dream come true. I often question how Lola had other clients, because she truly made me feel like the most important person in the world from start to finish. One of the things I loved most was that Lola and her team took the time to get to know me and my husband on a personal level; I feel like this made creating a concept & executing so much easier.

Also, having a full service planner really took away all the stress of wedding planning. I tell people often, we just gave ideas and paid invoices. All of the hard work came from MasterPlanEvents.

Working with this team truly made a huge difference leading up to the big day. However, the attention I received on my actual wedding day was unmatched! I truly didn’t want for anything. I can’t imagine having another event without them! Literally a dream team!

There are no words to fully express our gratitude and thanks to Lola and her team. Lola truly helped us design the wedding of our dreams from start to finish. Just beauty from every angle! Over the course of a year+ of planning, Lola remained so kind and extremely patient with me and my ever changing designs, guest count, and additions (even adding a Photo Booth on the day of the wedding lol). Lola traveled with me to look at a number of wedding venues before we finally settled on the one. She then helped me select and negotiate with every single vendor. And would be the point of contact with the vendors.

On wedding day, I never had to worry about a thing. MasterPlan had an entire team dedicated to ensuring we had everything we needed and remained on track with our timeline. Special thanks to Bisi on her team, who assisted me (the bride) the ENTIRE day/night! Lola oversaw each and every vendor, and coordinated the setup and break down. I truly felt like a princess the entire week of my wedding all because of the extreme level of efficiency and planning provided by MasterPlan.

Overall, Lola brings to the table a deep wealth of industry knowledge and vendor relationships. Working with Lola was simply a dream, and I can’t wait to plan another event with her. If you’re trying to find THE BEST wedding planner in the DMV, look no further. You will not be disappointed. Truly a gem.

Although we started this process so long ago, she actually pulled off planning my wedding in 3-4 months at a very logistically challenging venue. Whew! I am grateful. MasterPlan Events should receive 5+ stars!! Lola, the head planner, went over and beyond my expectations throughout the planning for my wedding and then her and her coordinators brought more energy for our wedding weekend. It did not matter what we asked Lola, nothing was stupid or too hard to figure out. Her team and her worked in front and behind the scenes at all times, making sure to keep my husband and I updated with everything. MasterPlan Events are professional, gentle, diligent, detail-oriented, hardworking, focused, well connected with all the vendors, and genuinely kind and inspired to help in any way they can. We were blessed to have them with us on our journey and due to our amazing and positive experience, I will use her again in a heart beat. Our wedding day was enjoyable and joy-filled because Lola and her team took care of everything. One of the best wedding planners in Maryland. Lola and her team planned my wedding in Aug 2020. We started with a short timeline to begin with and then we found ourselves in the middle of a pandemic! The team was able to adapt to something none of us had experience with and delivered a wedding that was beyond our dreams! All our guests felt very safe and comfortable with the safety plans that she came up with.
Lola is super responsive, answering texts and emails till well into the night and very professional while at it. The coordination with all the vendors was also flawless.
I would recommend Masterplan events before, but after my pandemic planning experience, I would recommend her ten times over!

I HAD MY DREAM WEDDING!!!! Coming from someone who enjoys the headache of planning entertainment, parties, and large events, I refused to do the heavy lifting for my own wedding. There is absolutely no way, that I would’ve been able to create my Cinderella dream wedding without Lola, and the master plan events team to take charge. I had the privilege of being the officiating minister for a wedding that was planned and directed by MasterPlan Events. Lola and her team were professional in every aspect, and her calm demeanor kept the large bridal party on task for a memorable and beautiful ceremony. Our church sanctuary is limited in space, but that did not stop MasterPlan Events from finding a way to make everything beautiful. It was a pleasure to work with professionals during the wedding weekend, and I highly recommend this fine event planning organization to you for your special day! If I could give more stars I would! Masterplan Events was the glue that held everything together for our wedding. When we first got engaged I knew we needed a wedding planner. Events stress me out and I just knew I wasn’t capable of taking on a wedding. We met with 3 planners before choosing, who all seemed great at what they did, and Lola was the last one I spoke with. After my first conversation with her I knew she was the one who could give us the wedding we really wanted and I wouldn’t have to question if it would come out right. I was so right!

We started planning pre-covid and had just begun the design stage when the pandemic started. Our venue closed for good and while we (husband and I) started to become over it and considered just eloping, Lola kept us on our path and I am forever grateful that she did. She found us a new venue that was just as wonderful as the original and kept us pushing forward. She was always available (like always), responsive, friendly, creative and the list goes on. I’m a super indecisive person and she always helped me talk things through when making decisions. Lola always kept us on track and presented information in a simple and clear way, either with spreadsheets, pictures, timelines etc. And on our day all of those small details that made big impacts literally just all came together.

The way her and her team managed our wedding day was beyond amazing. They were professional, friendly and just on top of it all! They really took care of us from start to finish. I truly cannot recommend MasterPlan events enough! I can’t wait to renew our vowels just to work them again!
