Deanna is the BEST!

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. From our engagement session—where she turned a snowstorm in downtown Lewes into the most magical photos—to our wedding day at Honey Bee, she captured every moment beautifully. She made us feel comfortable and gave the right amount of direction. She was always there to fix my hair or hide a strap. 🙂 Looking through our photos feels like reliving the best day ever, and we’re so grateful to have them. If i could give 1000 stars to Deanna i would! Deanna is incredibly talented and such a sweet person to be around. The day of my wedding Deanna showed up on time ready to capture every moment. She walks you through every shot and is extremely patient. Deanna made sure that my dress and hair were perfect for every shot and even went as far to helping me put in my veil when my mom and I weren’t too sure how to keep it in place. Deanna’s photography style is everything i could have wanted and it’s such a plus being around such a fun and kind personality! i am so thankful she was able to capture our special day and will be calling her for every session needed going forward! Just realized I never left a review for Deanna, and yet she was such an integral part of our big day! Deanna is truly a gem of a person and an incredibly talented photographer. I got to work with her for our engagement photos, boudoir shoot, and of course our wedding day.

She is such a professional; she came prepared with specific shots in mind and stuck to a timeline so we were able to spend more time celebrating and less time posing on our big day. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, so she was able to capture "realistic" looking photos that didn't feel contrived or forced. She gives great direction and has a calming presence, so she makes even the most camera adverse people feel comfortable in front of the lens (which I especially appreciated for my boudoir shoot).

Her editing style and overall aesthetic makes for breathtaking photos. Everyone looks their best yet not "fake," and the setting looks magical while not distracting from the main subjects. We love our photos and the book she put together, and the books she made for our parents made amazing gifts. Would absolutely recommend Deanna to anyone. We look forward to working with her again in the future!

My husband and I cannot put into words how great she was. Not only were Deanna’s pictures great and captured our day perfectly but she also helped our day run smoothly and seamlessly. Deanna is an all around girls girl. She made sure my necklace was straight before pictures, checked that my extensions were blended and helped button my wedding dress when others nails were too long. She was just as involved with the guys as well and helped them correctly put on their boutonnières. Deanna was a crucial part of our wedding day and one of the best decisions we made was choosing her to be our photographer. Deanna even had pictures for us to look at that night before the wedding was even over. We received our entire album at a very quick turn around.
