Jeff Forney's Spanish class is worth your money. I have been attending his classes for four years. He makes them fun because Jeff responds to the questions that the students in his classes ask him and he is not afraid to go off his lesson plan to explain a new vocabulary word, verb conjugation, grammar structure or popular Spanish saying. The bottom line is you learn Spanish in a fun, interesting and informative way. ¡La clase de español de Jeff es muy buena!

I can highly recommend Jeffe Tico Tours. I've known the owner of Jeffe Tico Tours, Jeffery Forney, as both a Spanish teacher and a Costa Rican tour guide and I rate him an A+ on both. I've had many Spanish teachers through the years, and Jeff is my favorite. Although he is not a native Spanish speaker, he has an excellent accent in Spanish and makes language learning fun. He is flexible and attentive and with 30 years of teaching behind him, his teaching methods are very effective. I "graduated" from group to private lessons with Jeff and I feel like my skills have improved greatly.

Recently, my husband and I also utilized Jeff as a tour guide in Costa RIca and he was excellent in this role, as well. He made very good suggestions about what we should do and see, while also remaining very open to our preferences. He found lodging for us, and was reliable and personable every day of our tour. Jeff loves Costa Rica, and he shares this enthusiasm about the country with his customers. After returning from our tour with Jeff, I was eager to recommend him to friends and family who are thinking of a trip to Costa Rica. Jeff helped us deal with some pesky travel details related to COVID, and eased our way through the whole trip. I am entering my second year taking Spanish lessons from Jeff, and my husband and I would definitely hire him again on our next trip to Costa Rica.

This Spring (2021), I participated in an online beginner Spanish class presented by JeffeTico Tours. I was hesitant to sign up as my last Spanish class was over 50 years ago. To my relief and delight, the class was informative, non stressful and I looked forward to attending on line each week. Most helpful was the freedom to ask questions during the class and having the review of the week's material accessible through Google Docs, which I could review and print out. I would highly recommend the class and felt I not only learned a lot of vocabulary but also rules grammar in a fun way. I am looking forward to continuing with this program and instructor.
