I love Origami Stables for many reasons! I sent my gelding there to have his back rehabbed and I was so impressed by his results that I began taking lessons. Sandra is a great trainer and has helped both me and my horse beyond measure. I am becoming a better rider and my horse is finally starting to settle into the partner and trail horse I've always wanted him to be. Her suggestions from bit changes, to saddle fit and saddle pad fit has made a world of difference with his behaviors. She is an extremely knowlegable equine professional and I would recommend her and her facility to anyone!

I can't say enough good things about Origami Stables. I sent my 9 year old OTTB mare to Sandra and her team several months ago after a failed adoption. Taking her back I needed a safe place, one that would help her recuperate and one that understood the unique needs of OTTB's. She had not been ridden much in the few years she was gone and was labeled "difficult" and only for advanced riders. She was underweight and needed work on her feet and teeth, Sandra secured a great farrier and dentist and developed a special diet to get her safely back to an ideal weight, all while evaluating her training needs. As it turns out Sandra discovered she might have some serious issues with her back and hips and had a massage therapist and chiropractor evaluate and treat her. After just one session we had a new horse. Sandra has been dedicated to training her body and mind and also has had several different riders at various levels of skill helping with her evaluation and training. Within just a few short months my mare entered her first ever show and won three first places, two 2nds, two 3rds and a Reserve Champion! In addition to ribbons my mare gained confidence and experience which is valued even more. If you are looking for a trainer and stable that will put your horse first, from top to bottom and communicate with you about how your horse is doing from a health and training perspective then Sandra and Origami Stables are the place for you. I am thankful everyday that Sandra is working with my mare, because honestly I do not think there is a better place she could be.

My daughter (10yo) looks forward to riding every week! Her confidence has boosted and independence is encouraged. We’ve tried many activities but this is the one the stuck! (I’m sure her favorite horse Tiki helped with that 😁)

I let my daughter get lessons from here the trainer Katie would cancel 15 mins before the start of the lesson she did this 3 times. When she was supposed to train my daughter she let someone else train her then charged me full price for a 30 min lesson and said I’ll make it right then the following week text me someone else’s phone number 30 mins before the lesson saying you should let someone else train her… very unprofessional
