Took my car to Emory’s to have some performance parts (charge pipes, down pipe, and front mounted race intercooler) installed. They were very informative and helpful with my questions and I felt comfortable with them working on my car. So I scheduled an appointment which was about a week out and when the time came, dropped off my car to have the work done. Later in the day was contacted and told my car was ready to go. I couldn’t be happier about the service I received and fully recommend them for your auto needs. In fact, having them install some suspension parts when they arrive as well.

I would give zero stars if it was an option. They left my father's newly restored 34' Chevy in the rain for two years. The paint job is ruined. My father passed away soon after he dropped off the vehicle for a few adjustments. My brother and I called for months to pick it up but were met with a myriad of excuses. Finally after we said we were going to call the police and report the vehicle as stolen they provided us with an address to pick up the vehicle. These are not good people. Do not trust them.

I’ve been there twice now, and both times have been as good as can be expected considering your car is at a mechanic.

First time was a bear of a situation: I had a head gasket leak on my Subaru, and most shops didn’t want to bother with the hassle. John spoke with me for a bit and took it on. After testing, it was determined the head was warped, and he had it machined flat.

Just a week or two beforehand I had the water pump and timing belt replaced somewhere else. Two other shops I spoke with in my search would only buy the needed head gasket as part of a kit that included those new parts. John only ordered the parts needed to actually repair the engine, and saved me several hundred dollars by going through this extra effort.

Also, Paula has the patience of a saint for juggling so many customers efficiently, and deserves a shout out.

I had a problem that was months long, brought it to other places who acknowledged the problem but gave up on diagnosing it. Not Emory’s. This family run business understands we need our cars to live our lives. They get to the bottom of a problem, fix it and are more than fair in their charges.

If you are like me and want to be able to drop your car in the hands of a place that will do right by you in every way, you have found your mechanic. John, Paula and Robbie own this place.

1980 Corvette. Had the master cylinder, two rear brake calipers changed, and the brake system bled. Oil change and levels topped off. Great job!
