One of the best floats in North Alabama. The kayaks and paddles are great quality and the staff is very kind and helpful. They were able to advise us on the best time to start our float on a day that started with some heavy rain. We had a wonderful time! The markers every mile are helpful and this section of the Big Wills Creek is both fun and suitable for beginners.

Don’t waste your time or money on anything big wills is involved in there crooks especially big wills water board!! BE WARY VERY WARY !! it is an awesome place to kayak BUT it is owned by big wills unfortunately

A nice relaxing speed, not too difficult at all. Prices are fair and the shuttle service is great. From the put in, it's six miles total back down stream, but there are mile markers every mile.There are also plenty of sandbars to stop at to take breaks. Beautiful views in the late afternoon and fall. The creek is a bit more shallow in the late summer due to lack of rain, so you may scrub a few times. First time here! Last minute kayaking trip for the 4th w/ brother & his wife, their kids & my kids. Was not expecting it to be that long. 5 miles!! By the time we finished my arms was noodles! Plenty of places to pull up & let kids swim. Eat lunch or a snack. We will definitely be back.

We went kayaking at Big Wills outfitters Sept 2017. The water level was great. We had a great time and really enjoyed it. Call before you go to check water level. Take food and drinks in small coolers and put everything in ziplock bags.

The grounds are well maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful, and most of all they create an environment well suited for a relaxing and enjoyable day in a beautiful piece of nature that I would recommend anyone try at least once. I have very few things to say that aren't positive, none of them are relevant enough to mention compared to all the good. Thanks to everyone at Big Will's Outfitters for providing a service that is a nature lover's dream.
