I enjoyed my mid day sail on the Adirondack II. The crew were excellent. We were informed of the many important landmarks around Newport as we sailed. I recommend doing early during your trip and perhaps adding an evening sail if you have time. Plan to spend time in the wharf. It’s a great atmosphere. Bring cash for refreshment and please do tip the crew with cash. They will show you they deserve it. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Newport Classic Cruises for any special event! We originally were supposed to get married on the sailboat Sloop Eleanor, however the weather was not in our favor leaving this bride anxious the morning of. The team at Newport Classic Cruises were able to coordinate a whole new plan and get us out on a different boat to still be able to have our wedding ceremony on board. Our day ended up turning out even better than we envisioned and we owe it all to Cat Quinn, Captain Peter, Tessa and everyone at this company! They were all so personable, attentive and brought great energy making it the most beautiful and memorable day! Captain Peter even took down the coordinates of where we got married which was extremely thoughtful.

Yacht Full Moon itself is breathtaking, extremely spacious, ample amount of seating, a full bar and lounge inside and overall beautiful backdrop for pictures!

We are forever grateful to Newport Classic Cruises and can't wait to plan our next charter!

Our sunset sail on Adirondack II was amazing! Lee, Pat, and Elise were great ! Very informing and entertaining! It was the perfect evening sail. Beautiful views, beautiful sunset. I highly recommend and hope to sail again, if we get back to Newport!

Took a sunset sail on the Eleanor sail boat with my wife and son. What a wonderful time! Shanon and Ray were knowledgeable and professional providing a fantastic adventure! Trip around the bay was 90 mins. The boat holds about 20 people. Lots of laughs and local knowledge! You can't go wrong booking your next sailing adventure on the "Eleanor"!

Our group of 4 had a great time in the sunset cruise aboard the Rum Runner II. We actually got to catch a tiny bit of the Newport Folk Festival because part of the cruise goes by Fort Adams. It's not a narrated cruise, but we sat up front and the captain and crew answered questions from passengers. They were great! Safety was important, but they were otherwise so laid back. Crew took every group's picture, too! Sunset was gorgeous, my pictures do not do it justice. Loved the setup of the Rum Runner, but wish it was a longer cruise and would be open for trying another boat in the future for a longer experience.

Just an FYI, the cocktails on board are canned cocktails (we had just one option, rum punch) and you purchase your drinks ahead of time. We did not enjoy the cocktail - it's very, very sweet. I would just choose a beer in the future, or stick with bottled water (which was readily available for everyone). It did not significantly impact our experience, but I felt it was worth mentioning for others.

We had a great time and all said we would do it again! Very impressed!

We sunset sailed on the Eleanor! It was a full boat but still very enjoyable - we made friends with people on the boat and it was a great group. The staff were really kind and friendly and shared interesting stories about the sights.

It did get chilly so I was glad I brought a sweater! They say that afternoon sailing is the best for weather so next time would do an afternoon one. However, the sunset was stunning!!

We took the sunset sail on the Madeleine for my partner’s 60th birthday with Kat, Lee & Mark, who took care of us from the minute we step aboard. The weather was amazing and so was the sunset! I can’t wait to go on another trip next time we’re in Newport. Thanks to the crew for an amazing time!

Wonderful experience aboard the Eleanor! I really appreciated this particular type of excursion because it was not overly crowded. Anywhere you sat was perfect. Our captain and co-captain were friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. They were extremely kind and accommodating when we prepaid for cocktails but neither myself or my friend enjoyed the ginger beer, and we were told we could have wine instead. They stated they rather us enjoy ourselves fully, allowing us a try beforehand. It was truly thoughtful! I would love to come back.
