Very enjoyable time! The staff definitely work well together -- very smooth ride. They were very aware of safety for the guests. It's so interesting to watch them hoist , lower and maneuver the sails! I got beautiful pictures of the lighthouse, a house on an island, the mansion Jackie O grew up in and Fort Adam. Fun for all ages! They also serve drinks on board.

Truly a great experience. It was a foggy evening and we feared we wouldn’t have much to see. Despite this, the crew were delightful, sharing stories and going “fog hunting” for some beautiful ships and harbor sites. I’m so happy we decided to travers the fog with this delightful ship!

Sailed on Sloop Eleanor yesterday on a beautiful day in August. We got the last 3 spots out of 20 for the hour and a half cruise. The captain was knowledgeable about many of the sites in the Bay. He was also funny with a dry sense of humor. Beer, wine and rum drinks were served at a reasonable price, along with non-alcoholic beverages. The ship was very steady, and they had a bathroom below deck. A great experience for all ages.

Wonderful midweek afternoon cruise on the Adirondack II! The boat is very well maintained and a beautiful little ship. There is comfortable seating and the crew is very kind and helpful with boarding of older passengers. Lee and Kat were fun and entertaining crew and Elise a competent captain. She reverses out of a tight slip like it's a piece of cake. Refreshments onboard are reasonably priced and there is a good selection. Would definitely recommend Newport Classic Cruises!

Did the sunset cruise on the Schooner Madeleine and we had a fabulous time. It was super foggy when we went which just made it a mystical cruise. Towards the end the fog started to lift some and we had some small glimpses of the sunset. Overall, the trip is inexpensive and just fun and we would do it again.

Such a fun time!!!! Our crew was just amazing! Aria and Lee were always ready to tell the history of various buildings and lighthouses, pour you a fresh drink or take a group photo. Our captain Chris, took us all around, and even went up close to Castle Lighthouse for an wonderful photo opportunity. It's just facts, sunsets are more beautiful on boats and our crew delivered! This should be a part of your Newport experience.

Amazing experience! Such a perfect way to spend an evening with friends or loved one. The boat hands were friendly and gracious. Would have liked to have actually seen the sun set all the way as we docked just as the sun disappeared but other than that, easily worth the money.

This was an awesome experience! The staff and crew were great and super friendly. Throughout the tour they pointed out various landmarks and provided history of the things we saw on the tour. They also had a cash bar and there was even a restroom on the boat, which was a plus. This was my first time in Rhode Island and this sailing excursion was the highlight of my trip. The weather was absolutely beautiful and this experience was so much fun. The meeting point was at Bowen’s Wharf which was easy to find, but I will say, parking is difficult in Newport. I would recommend allocating about 45 minutes to find parking but I wouldn’t discount this tour based on that. It was so much fun!
