Took my son there for a possible concussion. Can't say enough about the staff. RN David (wish I knew his last name) was spot on, informative, compassionate, and efficient. He put my son at ease. The doctor that treated him (female), wish I had gotten her name, was outstanding and made me and my son feel at ease. She was also compassionate and informative. Was there for less than an hour. This ER is a benefit to Citrus County.

A few weeks ago, at about 8:30 one evening, I had a need to seek relief for a chemical burn/bacterial infection in my left hand. I had waited a bit too long to see a doctor. But by this point in time my regular doctor's office was closed and the pain was increasing, I could no longer withstand the effects. My wife convinced me to go to the TGH Crystal River Emergency Center. I was anticipating a lengthy check-in process before being able to see a doctor. To my surprise check-in was fast and very efficient and I soon saw Dr. Green who was wonderful! She quickly diagnosed my wound and prescribed a regimen of antibiotics and gave me a bottle of antiseptic wash to treat the area with. I am very grateful to TGH Crystal River Emergency Center and Dr. Green! This area really needs such a great, responsive facility like TGH Crystal River Emergency Center here in Citrus County.

Terrible experience just to get an xray (ankle). We kept seeing other patients who came in after us get treated & released, while we were stuck behind a curtain without a single staff person acknowledging us for OVER 2 HOURS. After making a complaint the xray tech finally showed up. To add insult to injury, the incompetent front desk girl sent our new prescriptions to a pharmacy in Pennsylvania- even though we informed her our pharmacy was in Beverly Hills, Florida.

Sat three hours in a hallway with my fiances broken foot that was bleeding . Mind you there was multiple beds open and clean . Also made an elderly man with a foot injury sit in the hall too. For an emergency room , this place is a joke. I wouldn’t recommend going here for something as small as a nosebleed. Nurses at the nurses station just joking around and on their phones. If the hospital was busy I would understand for not having the best service . But this experience was ridiculous

This is a terrible hospital I went in with chest pain, chills, nausea, shortness of breath, cold sweats. I was in extreme pain. They get me in a room everything is fine until the Dr. Frank Fazio came in he was very rude, very short, rough he poked me in my chest with two fingers and asked me if it hurt. He told me you have the flu it's going around I have it and I'm ok. At this point I'm confused because I don't care what you have he was basically down playing my symptoms that really rubbed me the wrong way. I felt like what I had was more severe I've had the flu before and it was never like this. I was literally crying on the phone with my sister when Dr. Frank fazio came into my room and told me to chill out i have the flu. You don't tell a sick person to chill out when they are in that much pain and scared. Guess what turns out it was more than the Flu. I went to a different hospital and was treated 10x better. Also he falsified medical documents half the stuff i read on my chart was a lie. As a black women I should never feel over looked by a medical professional but I was and it was so disgusting. Everyone deserves excellent medical care

It’s so hard to find good hospitals or emergency care now a days. I went in because of heart palpitations, vomiting and insomnia. The nurse who hooked up my iv fluids almost gave me an air embolism! My whole iv line was FULL of air bubbles it was making popping noises as it was going into my arm. I started yelling and telling her to take it out because she DIDNT EVEN NOTICE! She then begins to blame it on the nurse who came in before her even though i know it wasn’t her fault. And don’t even get me started on the doctor! He was just awful the whole time his response to anything i was saying was “ya i get that”. He always tried to say all of my symptoms were caused my anxiety. I have postal orthostatic tachycardia that’s why I was having all my symptoms and I told him I was having a flareup but in his small mind i’m just a girl with anxiety and that’s why all this is happening. Absolutely ridiculous.

My wife went in with extremely high blood pressure and chest pain and trouble breathing. After her ekg and chest x-ray, we were left in a room for 4.5 hours without a single word if she was okay or not. I politely walked to the desk and asked if we could get an update and then the nurse comes in and explains what we're waiting on. Then the doctor comes in, calls me "impatient," tells my wife her heart is fine and tells her to make an appointment with her doctor. We follow up and her doctor tells her that her ekg is not okay and refers her to a cardiologist immediately. We will never go back there. I wouldnt let them put a band aid on me or anyone in my family.

I took a fall and hit my ribs, very painful. 😣 had to go to the emergency room nearby and got a CT scan and a urine test. Was there 5 hours, here is what the hospital TGH is billing my insurance company UHC. I am going to to wait to see what is paid but I am surly going to post all over social media this rip off BS. This is why health insurance is so high. I should have said I was from Mexico and have nothing else to say. This place is truly “price gouging’. $31K +, really ? For 4 hours checking in and sitting in a chair and one hour of actual time spent seeing the radiologist and talking to a PA ?
